The one thing that pleases you most since Ole took over

Ole's first game in charge against Cardiff. The players stormed out of the tunnel screaming in unison "FREEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOOM" in their best half-Scottish/half Australian accent.

This pleased me greatly.

The positivity and confidence from both the players and the manager. Players having fun and expressing themselves on the pitch, making the fans fall in love with the team again.

Also remember how quickly everybody, including myself, was turning on some of the players before Ole took over. Never been this pissed off at some of the players in all my life following this club. But with all the positivity in the club, and some great results and performances from the players, all the bitching and moaning seems to have disappeared.

Long may it continue.

The football. We actually commit players forward. I feel like I'm actually watching United again. It's been a long 5 years....

Its like I finally got United back. The team has been mired in mediocrity for so long I forgot how happy it made me to see our side play with freedom and attack. It's made football more enjoyable at all levels and as a result for the first time in a long time I'm looking forward to seeing us play. I have no expectations, just enjoying footie and enjoying life.

The fact that I now watch us holding beer in my hand, not a blood pressure monitor.

The games are fun to watch. That's what football is all about.

Playing as a team

Players look like they've had the rocket put up them, have pulled the finger out and care now.

We've had a succession of managers who lowered our actual ability. Before we have a top top defense if we conceded one we'd score two. We've got a bit of that back and that mentality is reflected in the football. It means we're seeing positive play, not just at random moments but through the 90 minutes. If we improve the quality further, we'll have a good team. It's easy to forget we did finish second last season but the seasons prior were just poor management. People say Ole couldn't fail but you can fail if you come into the job thinking it's about you. So now people are reminded of the old United and now we have the foundation for someone like Sanchez to flourish - IF he still has it. Because the movement and the excitement will see him closer to goal and the rest is up to him. Kinda two points but one leads into the other.

I crave goals again. When we score I want us to score another then another. Before Ole I was mostly bored and didn't feel we had it in us to score but now were feasting on goals and I'm greedy for more. Last time I felt this way was under Ferguson.

just enjoying football for the first time in 18 months and feel really engaged by the team

I noticed that with myself while watching the last game. I just wanted more more more as i knew we could score. Never thought like that under mourinho or even LVG

Agreed, Sult. Now our play resembles a top team, not like an expensive Pulis Stoke. It has flair, cohesiveness, and purpose.

Winning the ball high up the pitch. Makes a huge difference.

Continuing to attack after going ahead. Such a joy to be protecting a lead by extending it rather than defending it.

The freedom he has given our players. The movement and interchange between our forwards has been incredible.

The manager not blaming the players or board after each game, the negativity is gone.

Performance matter.

I was a Jose fan years ago and wanted him to replace SAF when he retired -- because we needed stability after such an upheaval. BUt the Jose of the past few seasons has been utterly disappointing -- the Seville match was the breaking point for me.

Not we can start with a clean slate and bring entertainment and performance into our play. There is no pressure on results as much at this point after the clusterfeck of the past five years.

Its now its like bring in fresh blood with the old blood.

Ole's injected fun and entertainment back into United and long may that always be the case.

I actually look forward to watching United instead of watching them out of duty.

Trust. Respect. Freedom.

The manager trust his players.
The players respect that they have responsibilities against the club, the supporters and the management.
With trust and respect comes freedom. Freedom creates harmony, happiness and better results. On and off the pitch.

That’s Ole Gunnar’s biggest achievement.

We’re actually trying to continue scoring after getting one. Rather than parking the bus. Not seen that in a long time.

First time since Sir Alex left we can see the attacking mindset and use of width.

I love seeing how midfielder still charging up the field when we are a man down at 85 minutes.

I love how everyone is smiling again. There's a camaraderie between the whole team it seems. People are playing for each other, the fans and Ole. I know it's only three games so far but everything has been new and weird since Fergie left, it's feeling much more Manchester United again now.

Going for goals all the time. With Jose, if we scored 2, we just shut up the shop, with Ole we just go for more goals and that's how ManUtd should play.

On the positive side. I finally enjoy watching football again!
On the negative side, why can't we just keep playing for hours instead of 90+ mins...

Quite enjoying the pressing we've seen and the hunger to get the ball back quickly after we lose it. It's obviously helped by having players higher up the pitch, but that real hunger throughout the team is like night and day.

EDIT: Just to add to the above, I must have clapped about 8 times during the Bournemouth game at random pieces of play, singing along with the crowd and generally just having a great time. It's been so, so long since I've been in a mood like that watching United.
