When can I get the feck out?

But be careful what you wish for, you have actually made the Conference Finals and 2nd Round in your two seasons in Orlando. Some people barely see the playoffs.
Speaking of those: hopefully Lebron ain‘t kicking me out already.

Sort of feel like my guy is worse after I rebalanced him.

Give us some advanced stats too, we're roughly halfway through our careers - who's fairing the best?

I could live with being poor if I hadn’t seen such riches.

Cool that the retooling to offer a little bit defensively is showing up in the stats and awards... Shame that the actual season played out the exact same way as always. :(

Stat Bonanza (2007)
Give us some advanced stats too, we're roughly halfway through our careers - who's fairing the best?

  1. --- 18 hobbers
  2. --- 2 oneniltothearsenal
  3. --- 2 altodevil
  4. --- 0 Everyone else

Other random stuff I noticed

  • Dr. Dwayne once shot 25 free throws in one game, and scored them all.
  • hobbers has by far the highest GameScore in a game at 54.1 He went 46/10/12 with 7 steals and 6 blocks... and still only beat Atlanta by 3 points.
  • oneniltothearsenal once had 10 turnovers, but also 37/20/12 and 6 steals.
  • Only four players have scored 50 in a game: Solius (12), Samid (4), BenitoSTARR (2), hobbers (2). If Dr. Dwayne had hit one more free throw in that game he would done it too. Solius is the only one who has done it in the playoffs.
  • Nobody has tried 40 field goal attempts (shots) in a game, but Solius once had 39.
  • Two players have scored 10 3-pointers or more in one game: Samid and V.O.
  • reelworld once had 27 assists
  • Solius was blocked 9 times in one game - and still scored 37.
  • Dr. Dwayne has made the most guaranteed money so far ($169.52M)
  • reelworld is featured twice in the top 5 of the "most lopsided trades" stat that the game can generate, based on the total amount of wins added. Both times because his pick was traded. You can't blame them, that pick could have turned into anything - even another reelworld.
  • Fun add-on to the previous fact: one of those was the 1999 Seattle Supersonics trading away the pick that would turn into reelworld (that they had gotten from Indiana in another trade) for a 52-rating player. He would peak at 54 and retire a few years later. At this point Solius, weetee and The Cat were already on the team, and just about to become really good. They could have had all four.
  • The 2005 Phoenix Suns were the 7th worst NBA Final team ever.
  • The 2001 Seattle Supersonics are the youngest championship team ever. The 2006 Minnesota Timberwolves were 2nd, and the 2000 New York Knicks 3rd. All had Cafites.
  • Solius currently has the 7th highest career rating improvement in history, from 55 to 86. Dr. Dwayne is 10th with 45 to 75, and hobbers is 17th with 63 to 91.

ORB% (percentage of available offensive rebounds grabbed)
  1. --- 22.8% altodevil
This is by far the most insane stat out of them all. Dennis Rodman was 17% for his career, which is the highest all-time. 23% is a cheat code.

@nimic, no idea about the salary cap but would you assume ai broke up our super team from seattle when we were on top of our game because of financial issues or because they thought they could build an even stronger team (historically bad decision then, probably worse than Hobbers loving it in Charlotte).

If you‘d work on your turnovers you might win a title again I‘d say.

It's definitely possible they were hoping to spend a bit less money. They could probably have kept going with the three of you and still won some stuff, if they were smart.

Get to Minnesota we'd win every year.
My boss works in New York mainly when he’s on earth. He’s started hanging around with a bunch of dudes and a Scottish widow or something?

So I’m pretty much contractually obliged to appear in a whole bunch of spin off and sequel movies.

You can retire early if you want to, after the next season. Currently you are the only one below 60 (except Stobzilla, who retired).
Yeah, might be time to call it a day of this guy. We can make kids right?

Am I the only one to play in LA?

Space Jam would have been such a banger starring a charismatic hammer instead of MJ!

2007 Draft and Free Agency
2007 Draft and Free Agency (and free agency window trades)

Draft:
  1. Kevin Durant (GF 62/81) to Washington Wizards
  2. Thaddeus Young (PF (53/68) to Memphis Grizzlies
  3. Greg Oden (C 47/71) to New Jersey Nets
  4. Yi Jianlian (PF 49/69) to Boston Celtics
  5. Corey Brewer (GF 52/67) to Memphis Grizzlies
  6. Joakim Noah (C 55/66) to Philadelphia 76ers
  7. Spencer Hawes (FC 40/70) to Houston Rockets
  8. Javaris Crittenton (G 44/65) to New Jersey Nets
  9. Julian Wright (SF 48/66) to Milwaukee Bucks
  10. Rodney Stuckey (G 51/64) to Toronto Raptors
Free Agency:

@Stobzilla has left the Memphis Grizzlies and signed with the San Antonio Spurs for $9.65M/yr through 2011

@Skizzo has re-signed with the Orlando Magic for $6.55M/yr through 2012

@reelworld has left the Phoenix Suns and signed for the Orlando Magic for $8.76M/yr through 2012. Yes, that means the Magic now have three Cafites in the same position (PG), but I wouldn't be too worried for... reasons.

@BenitoSTARR has predictably chosen to sign a new contract with the New York Knicks for $18.55M/yr through 2012

Trades:

First a few straightforward ones.

@Stobzilla @sebsheep - Not sure what to make of this one one way or the other.

bXldszG.png

@Salt Bailly @sebsheep - This seems like a bad trade for Detroit. I guess that New Orleans pick might be good.

7DQJKX8.png

Hold on to your hats

@Solius @Skizzo - Remember how Chicago just won the league? This is Orlando casually just giving them a good player and a potentially good player for a single pick. And then...

CGA4QSl.png

They trade the pick, another pick, Skizzo and another decent player for a slightly younger version of Skizzo

Mf7WrbF.png

This must have convinced the Seattle Supersonics that they are absolute geniuses, because they immediately do this move. That's a single 59 rating player for two 62 rating players, a 59 rating player, a 57 rating player and a 56 rating player. Admittedly they are all older and more expensive. But don't worry, we're not done yet.

QsfkNfk.png

Miami immediately trade Malik Allen (plus two players and two picks) back to Seattle for @oneniltothearsenal. One of those other players is Amar'e Stoudemire, who only 2 years ago was part of a huge package to get oneniltothearsenal from Miami in the first place.

To summarize: Skizzo is now in Seattle and oneniltothearsenal is now in Miami.

48GFcL8.png

Oh, and then Miami immediately trade Mike Dunleavy to @Dr. Dwayne's Pacers.

Seattle in shambles. There would be riots in real life.
