The Tottenham Hotspur 2020/21 thread

That's not true. Peak Mourinho was 2004-2010. Solid 6 years.

Porto season and the Inter treble seasons were bloody brilliant. The first 2 seasons at Chelsea as well probably. 6 continuous years is a bit of stretch though.

But it's indeed 6 continuous years though. Porto, Chelsea and Inter periods were all great for him. He didn't have a single bad season in them, the only one that might have been, he left at the start of it anyway. During Chelsea and Inter periods, there was no question he was the best or second best coach in the world. His career started to drop a little bit starting from Madrid.

Maybe not top 3 in history, but definitely top 5 for me, alongside Pep and Fergie, of course.

You hate him so much, don't you?

Maybe he doesn't worship him like few here.

Jose isn't top 3 managers of all time, it's not even controversial or you have to hate Jose to say that.

I don't think it's fair that Spurs are all of a sudden good again.

There, I said it.

Team hits good patch, people get all excited before they hit rough patch.

And in last 5 minutes we've had a reality check Spurs defence isn't that great either, another Sanchez special. Spurs in panic stations for last 5 minutes.

There's no point. Like with Ronaldo, you'll reject any of the manager considered by all and sundry to be better than him, and believe he's better than he actually is, due to him being Portuguese.
Has nothing to do with that.

Pep has always gone to the best and richest team in the leagues he managed and bought everyone he wanted.

What is easier winning leagues with 2 billion dollar squads in City or Bayern who own the bundesliga or the greatest Barca team of all time OR

winning EL and CL with Porto, dominating England with Chelsea, bringing Madrid back to relevance in the CL and La liga breaking the Barca chokehold, coming back and winning the league with Chelsea again, treble with inter.

We seriously want to compare that?

Additionally Spurs are not winning the league at all. I hope that a joke who is saying that.

The point I am making is people very easily forget how good a coach Mourinho actually is.

Don't think we've ever had a thread on here before when a team has been talked up for title and dismissed in about 30 minutes.

spurs already bottling the potentially of winning the league . Honestly, Spurs should have gone for more, but they decided to change their approach and conserve the 3-0 lead

We fecking threw those 3 points away, mostly thanks to the terrible o.g from Sanchez. 3 - 0 up, Kane hits the post and we fecking threw it all away.

Is that 3-0 up, then Bale comes on and they concede 3?

Moyes clearly used the standard 'Lads, it's Tottenham' half time team to talk

That was against the run of the game, really, but fair enough; that last was ridiculously good.

Still a lot of promise there, albeit the defence needs a bit of tinkering.

This is actually hilarious lmaooo

As I've said before you have no hope of challenging for the league if you can't win vast majority of home games.

Spurs 0/3 so far.

Massive shout-out to the people on here declaring them champions 60 minutes ago.

This will hurt their confidence a lot really. Don't see how they'll come back from this.
