The Tottenham Hotspur 2020/21 thread

Ok, it’ll be funny as feck if Spurs lose today, but they should be playing a Europa game the Thursday before we play them at old Trafford, so honestly, I'd rather they stayed in a bit longer. Save the humiliation for later in the season please.

Same, I want them to win.

I think Jose might be doing this on purpose, not to play on Thursdays?! And maybe presure Levy to get him more players: "Look they are shite, I need players, like Lingard, Jones, Rojo, Mata, Pereira..." Ok, maybe not the last part..

Come on Jose, we need you to play EL.

They scoreeeeeed 1-1 Kane

Plovdiv apparently have 2 players sent off, and Spurs scored a penalty?

Typical, after such a dull game the feed goes down for all the action

If Spurs keep facing teams of this quality that get 2 or 3 men sent off a game then maybe Jose will be a success there after all.

It's a classic Mourinho victory too where you watch your team win and still feel like shit because of how awful it was.

If some United fans would be smart then they would be happy that Tottenham are winning.
This. You'd want them in Europa and as many competitions as possible. If one wants to wish them out of a competition, let it be toward the tail end of it , not now.

"I win, that's what I do" - Jose David Mourinho

Glad they’re through. Hope their fixture list stays congested

Couldn't tell what was worse, my team or my stream.

I read on twitter that Lokomotiv Plovdiv haven't signed a player since 2012. Probably BS but I want it to be true.

Based on transfermarkt they haven't purchased a player since 2012, everyone else was a free agent.

They were terribloe, we were terrible, we got through but we seem to be lacking match fitness right now. Pros were GLC and the game changed when NDombelle came on. The game its self probably had one of the funniest yellow cards I have seen however.

Jesus  Spurs are in for a long, long season

What happened?

From my crappy stream it seemed like one of their players were trying to dig a divot with his boot on the penalty spot before Kane's penalty.

Torres did that before against us for Chelsea; Rooney went on to miss! We won 3-1 I think (and maybe Rooney scored the rebound anyway?). Think it was the game Torres missed the open goal :D

Put out arguably his strongest side tonight, and if it wasn't for the two dismissals of the oppositions team, then they'd have probably gone home with a loss.

It’s just what happened to us all over again, but with worse players.

The clearly are missing a Christian Eriksen who will feed Kane assist passes. And the precise crosser of Trippier from the wide.

Precise assist passes are crucial , behind Kane’s success. Top consistent quality support and service.
