And so it has come down to this.

The top four in the Premier League is decided but the biggest prize is still up for grabs on the last day of the season. The title of Champion of the Lineup Prediction League 2014/15! *da dum*

Here's how the top of the table stands with one game to play:

@kundalini has a two point lead, with @Venkman24 and @Amethyst breathing down his neck, ready to capitalise on any mistakes. And don't rule out @Samid @izec or @Walters_19_MuFc.

Given the unpredictability of the line-up in a dead rubber game at Hull, there's everything to play for.

I promised prizes earlier in the season, and while these hardly set the world alight, they are:
  • 1st place: Jersey of choice from the online United Direct site (or the new home jersey when it's released).

  • Top 3 or 4 runners-up*: 2014/15 season review DVD
    * Exactly how many depends on whether there are any ties in the final scores.

  • A new tagline for the winner and runner-up - woot!
  • Prize winners can choose something of equivalent value from the online store if they think their prize sucks.
So, who's your money on?
 
@Amethyst is going to bring it home for the Podcast massive! It's fair to say he couldn't have made it this far without our invaluable input.
 
Top three to stay the same. Dropping two points would be massive with only one game left. If I was third or fourth I'd go completely left field and predict randomness in the hopes LvG radicalises the line up for Hull.

I think I'm averaging around 13 points since the Liverpool game in March. Can't believe how many points I dropped when LVG was messing around with 352, playing three strikers and whatnot. This is a lethal game if you play it with your heart instead of your head.

Top 3 is gone. Maybe I could catch the podcast guy if he decides to pay a massive tribute to Slippy G in the final round but that looks unlikely. Need a perfect round to guarantee the race for 4th trophy.
 
Everyone in the top 25 should get a certificate emailed to them, for being an expert lineup picker.
 
I'm top of the staff mini league so that's something.

Who pays for the prizes? Oh, and it this even in the correct forum :lol:

Yeah just realised that, I lead this thing for 20-25 weeks but then lost interest (at least that is the excuse I am going with)
 
What the purpose of this is really to find out which one of you lot is Steve Bates.
 
Damn, I wish I predicted for all our games. On current form I'd nearly be in the top 10! Oh well, next year is my year. I go again.

Last game of the season could feck up a lot of people. No idea if we're going to play our usual strongest lineup or throw in some reserve players.

I'm 46th with an average score of 10.33. Better than I was expecting. Anyway, my money is on Amethyst.
 
As Liverpool fans often say "next year is our year". Well in this case, it's my year.
 
Dammit, I missed one lineup prediction early in the season and quit playing after that. I was doing pretty good, should've continued.
