Tottenham Hotspur vs. Manchester United

We've picked up 7 points from WHL, The Emirates and Stamford Bridge. Not a bad return at all. We picked up 1 from the corresponding fixtures last season.

and of course we won the league last year. all very encouraging indicators.

not bad for a side clearly in transition.

It's the sort of player he is. He'll always go for the tricky, but devastating pass. Sometimes it'll lose us possession, but then sometimes it will work.

The tricky devastating pass back to the defence that turns out to be too short?

Superb performance from the defence, bar one mistake. Took our chances well. Two great goals from young. Happy days.

incredible game, top notch defending in the first half particularly!

Ashley Young's second goal was immense too :D

There are few things in life which are guaranteed. Up there with the tides coming in and out and the sun rising every morning is Man utd beating Tottenham Hotspur.

Performance was good despite missing some of our best players but you deserved to win. If you don't take your chances and fall asleep at simple set pieces, you deserve nothing. Its the same old bullshit every time against you, regardless of the players you have out. To let you score from your second? shot on target, at home, is criminal.

Oh well, the performance was what we needed after the trouncing from Arsenal and we've almost finished the horrific run of games and still have cushion over 4th and an even nicer cushion over 5th. Hopefully we can get back to winning ways against Stevenage and then get something from Goodison.

It was clinical stuff from United but there is a lot of positives you can take from this game as a Spurs fan.

You started the name calling (however tame the names used were) so don't be surprised that he returned the favour.

And how is ti your business? :p If he's so vulnerable he needs someone to defend him on his behalf, then fair enough. I won't make a fuss to ruin my happy day. :)
