Not a bad side at all.

Welbeck is the question mark, but Nani apart from his goal wasn't great at all Midweek.

Fellaini not trusted

It's a shame we didn't offer Everton someone like Young on loan plus £5-10m for Fellaini for the season. He's already someone that needs replacing next summer. £27m.

Good team. Why do people expect Rafael to start this game after he was injured for such a long period.

Fellaini on the bench again. I'm all for giving him time but this increasingly looking like 27mil well spent.

Why are a all so pissed about Rafael? The guy is only back from injury,

Besides Smalling IMO has done fine in recent games at right back. I am happy we have such a good back up to right back.

Once Rafael is 100% and he performs he will be back
He seems to have been back for a while now though (obviously we don't know how fit though). I am fine with Smalling playing, he has done well, very well actually but there is going to come a time where Rafael is going to have to start regardless of Smalling's form.

He's always a question mark in the big games, were you have to take your chances IMO. His work-rate and overall play outside the box is never in question though. I'd love him to bag one today.

Good team, reckon kagawa will play through the middle. Disappointed at no nani, only going to get in to form by playing and think he'll give more in attack then welbeck will but guess moyes rates his defensive work. Big call on fellaini again.

Welbeck on the left is fine, don't know why people are worried. He's done well in the big games before hasn't he? Even if he doesn't score today he'll be important. I'm certainly looking forward to the link-up play between him, Kagawa and Rooney.

Hopefully it's welbeck on the left and kagawa behind Rooney

I'm pretty sure that is the case. Kagawa was very good in that role in midweek, and I can't remember the last time Welbeck started in the middle.

Welbeck on the left is fine by me, he will help hugely defensively. Besides, if Shinji is in the hole you'd hope we can create through the middle and not be so reliant on wing play.

Decent lineup, would prefer to see Rafael on though. Seems Moyes does not like him.

Phew. My first game on BT.

Edit: why are Owen Hargreaves and Steve McManamamanaman playing 5 a side?

Aye. Though, it begs the question what Moyes think Fellaini adds to this team that we were missing. That's for another thread.

Cautiously optimistic.

It'll be interesting to see how Kagawa and Rooney link up with what I'm expecting will be much less time and space than the other night.

Chadli over Eriksen and Lamela for them is good news and AVB has stacked his midfield, not sure if that is fear or the hope that he can exploit our biggest weakness. Shame Nani is not playing but I thought Moyes might opt for the two defensive wingers.

Massive game for Kagawa up against Sandro. Big game for Cleverley too. We need to make sure Rooney isn't isolated, we want a Rooney vs Leverkusen number 9 performance rather than a Rooney vs Chile isolated performance.

Still no Rafa ffs.

Good lineup considering our options. I never like to see Welbeck out wide though, especially with Valencia on the other side. Hopefully they play well.
