Right. There I was thinking young keepers are fairly inconsistent and prone to mistakes no matter how WC they turn out to be. Hell, we even have to drop DdG once and he got back in the side once Lindegaard fecked up against Reading. Even ter Stegen who is considered in higher regard than both mentioned keeper struggles at times for Barcelona. For now, I'd like a stable presence at the back with experience rather than building up a new keeper when our defence is just about getting fixed 4 players.

They aren't kids, Leno is 23 and has over a 150 games as the main man at Leverkusen. Plus there is nothing stabilizing about Navas as he can't command is area and can't catch the ball, he'll make our CB's more nervous than comfortable.

Well we're definitely signing another attacker on top of Martial then. Chicharito, Wilson and Janzuaj leaving means a minimum 2 incoming, it has to be.. doesn't it..

Regarding the circumstances yes it's arguably the best we could hope for...forgetting the circumstances though we're losing arguably the second best keeper in the world and will be very hard to replace him if we can at all
