I don't remember other news outlets crediting that one journo at the time, from what I remember it was their own story. It was an obvious brief in my opinion, people said it at the time, no need to get so shirty about it ffs :lol

Also next time just clearly come out and say your point instead of asking a question you know the answer to, just because you want to reply with your ready made reply.

No I had actually forgotten about it, that is why I asked, then I saw your response and it all came back to me. Even remembering how upset some people got with one of the journo's (not saying he was the source for all the stories), so I asked if it was at the same time that happened? No other agenda there.

Doesn't really exist in a vacuum though, you are getting an extra year with the latter pair. Plus extra cash that could be used on other signings.

Former. The latter two are #9s while Griezmann is suited as a second striker. I can't see Mourinho wanting to sign two #9s, both of whom want to start regularly when his formations throughout his career have had the 1 #9.

It exists in the same vacuum of us signing Morata and Lacazette. Hypothetical situation.

And don't worry about cash for extra signings. We have plenty of cash.

Is what I thought.

Some have this strange habit of saying we should've signed basically whoever any of our rivals sign. The reality is Lacazette isn't a typical Jose lone striker. And if the idea is that we're going with 2 up top, then Rashford and Martial are still here.

I'd rather wait for Griezmann, if that is the plan. If not, I trust Jose.

Yes but unless you share the opinion that Morata is a god you can't appreciate any other striker on here so best whisper :smirk:

Our problems last season was a combination of tactical and Player reasons, Once tactical reason's are solved it would solve a lot of problems itself, Fresh players will add even more.
