Edit: Suppose if there are enough clubs interested; the clause might be rendered pointless as clubs will try and seal the deal by offering a higher fee.

In reality we all know he's worth nowhere near that. In fact considering we are wiping a potential £30m off our wage bill and getting rid of wood so dead it's petrified, they are actually about -£60m out with that fee and should be discussing this Lukaku transfer as a £45m deal.
75 million base fee + 15 in "easy" addons + rooney tranfers for free, which everton value at 10m = 100m

You can manipulate stats to support many different opinions - there are also many other variables that go into differentiating these goalscorers that might explain why Lukaku shows some frailty among those stats. I think you have to consider the club he was at along with what was asked of him

No, it's the 4 goals, the doubles and the goals when everton was either winning or largely loosing. It's subjective too.
Well given that Everton get a lot less points than the rest of those teams is it really that surprising? If you weighted it by overall points it probably evens out

Average Speed might be the most useless football stat I've ever seen, assuming that is their average speed over the course of the whole game. I'm guessing it is, as it is pretty much walking speed for all of them.

Chelsea won the most points, so understandably Costa's goals played a big hand in that. Everton finished 7th, won fewer games, Lukaku scored goals in games that Everton lost or drew in.

these stats are worthless. Every team has a different pattern of play so you cannot compare stats like these. And the last stat? surprisingly Lukaku played for the weakest team among the lot
Stats, fee and wages, why are people so obsessed, he's the only one of the 5 we could realistically buy, he also played for the most inferior team of the 5 who won the least points, maybe created the least chances, had less need to 'run about' etc etc, one stat I did read was that he was involved in something like 46% of all Evertons goals, which suggests he does what he's paid to do, i don't care about the fee or his wages, I care about how he performs for us, so maybe this time next year we discuss the value of his £75m fee.
You're worth what someone pays for you. If a club out there wanted to buy me for £75m, then I'd be worth £75m. And I'm shit.

He's playing for Everton though. Proportionally by total points it's not much different to Costa's impact at Chelsea who tops the list.
