Was his agent not in a meeting with United on Thursday? So no surprise that we are talking and a bit Coutinho esc he wants to come, but unlike LFC, Inter are willing to do business but only for 4M more than we are offering. And they have already bought his cover.
So the only delay here is one of our own making really.
I could be wrong, Bale may have also been a factor, but I think we might have agreed time for them to get the replacements in and the sale could be agreed in principle. Lets face it, 4M is not a gap in price that we could not easily close.

I don't understand this negativity toward Perisic, I've watched him a few times. A part of my family are big AC Milan fans and we all agree he is an absolute monster of a player & exactly what we need, I have no doubt that if he does move to United he will be a big hit and he will absolutely terrorize PL defenders and supply Lukaku with the service he needs from the flanks. He's even ideal for a player like Darmian who is sound defensively but offers little going forward. I really hope he finally makes the move to Old Trafford as i believe he is the final piece of the jigsaw. I would take him over Mahrez and Moura any day of the week.
Most Serie A fans rate him to be fair. He's a fantastic player that has grown at Inter and has matured into a real asset on the flanks. I personally believe he will absolutely thrive in the EPL and hope we get him. His pace and ability to go either side will cause many issues for EPL defenses.
