Think it is more that we have people playing as wingers, who aren't actually wingers, which would be fine if our fullbacks compensated for it, but they don't. It might bite us on the bum eventually. We have addressed a couple of position. The value of the Lindelof signing won't be seen yet, but he wanted that winger and we haven't got it. I hope we don't go back for Perisic next season as he will be even dearer if he signs a new contract and older. Maybe Griezmann will be on his way?
I know. The bit that irritates me is the 'We should be in for him' whenever some Tom, Dick or Harry gets mentioned, even if we are fully stocked in that position.I don't deny the need for a winger/a left or right back by the way, merely talking about the 'signing for the signing's sake' attitude. I agree we could do with one wide player more FWIW but I know that at the same time people would whine about Martial/Rashford not getting enough chances within 2-3 weeks.

Whatever City are willing to pay for Sanchez, we need to bid £10m more. Sanchez will decide which team wins the PL.
We don't need more players, we need better players. No point buying players just to keep a few idiots excited on dead line day.
Yet Young fancies another extension off us. He has his uses, but surely there are better players out there. I doubt he will get much playing time except for the cups. Cannot see him being on the bench for the league games. If he changes things, it will be the ones who are now on the bench coming in and the ones he rests being on the bench if they are needed.Yup, or the 'why aren't we in for him when X/Y/Z are'. That's the thing I'm alluding to, we need quality, not another proverbial Young who we'll struggle to offload in a couple of years.
I thought he had a considerably lower release clause?

Conte loves a target man, clearly isn't impressed with Batshuayi either. What do they want him for? Someone else to loan out?
Fashionable Paris to West Bromwich.
Wow that's worse than Fellaini to United deal then. I guess Juve being interested ruined others getting him for his release clause.Yes he had a € 25 mln release clause but expired on 15 July..
He's a big target man, who's also technically sound. He's caused us all sorts of problems every time we've played him. What do they want him for? Someone else to loan out?

Don't think he is under threat. He has actually done well. Llorente might even be a backup at his age. Batshuayi is more at risk.Morata must be pleased

Those who want us to sign any old Tom Dick or Harry just for the sake of signing players, they are idiots yes.So, because a fan wants us to sign players, it makes them an idiot?
Charming....
Unfortunately this week Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City are ALL going to buy a number of players which will definitely strengthen their squads. We should have been more pro-active this week and got a further signing.

Nah mate, it'll still be the team who has the most points after 38 games that wins it. Just letting Sanchez pick who wins it would be silly.
