Yes. People failed to recognize that Chelsea was extremely stable during last season when Matic was in good form. Once his form was off, or Conte tried to alienate him, Chelsea midfield lost that stability. Kante may add the energy & bite, but Matic IMO was the key for their midfield stability. Not bad at all.
And I prefer Fabinho if we only sign one for DM position; NOR believe in British news outlet.
