I can guarantee you Lindelof will be our only signing.

We will do good if we finish in top 10 tbh.

I said a couple o weeks ago and I say it again, our first signing season 2017/18 will be presented earlieast in July. We can probably expect medicals at Carrington in the beginning of next week. The signing of Viggo Lindelöf is part of transfer business season 2016/17 as our fiscal year ends in June.

If everything goes as we expect we maybe see Morata in a brand new Chevy on Monday, hopefully Fabinho or Matic a day or two later and if we are lucky another expected or unexpected signing before we head off to our pre season tour. After that I expect us to sell one or maybe two players before our season starts. If everything goes our way we maybe can afford a fourth signing but it prabably depends on Rooney's decision to stay or go.

Summer 2013
2. september: Marouane Fellaini

Still unbelievable even to this day....

Not only do we lose Fergie, David Gill over the Summer but we are reduced to signing just Fellaini at midnight on deadline day as well.

That anyone had any optimism whatsoever going into that season is astonishing in retrospect.

The alleged reporter is a Colombian reporter with a source close to James.
BS probably, but hey it's been a slow news day anyway.

"reputable Colombian reporter"

Why does that line just not make anyone think it's happening?

It'd be amazing if this happened.

Hard to understand from Manolas' point of view.
I remember him being a bit of prospect back at Olympiakos. There were some solid sources linking him to Arsenal too before the Roma move... Weren't we even linked to him last summer? (not sure how strongly) It's a bit strange.

Well, he's probably going to get more money, but I can imagine that a better club could have been interested in him sooner than later, if he had stayed at Roma. I think we were linked, but it wasn't substantial.

Heard this was a case of City offering the kid waaay too much money

I'm sure the capital press spun it that way - with Puyol & Pep involved, no chance. Plus, local reliable reporters confirm it had everything to do with the sporting direction of the youth by the current board & not money

Not to forget we got dithering Dave who told us Ed left on urgent business BUT wasn't seen again for god knows how long!
