I would like to think so, but again, that's just my own logic speaking. RMC are supposedly a good source who have said City and Barca are circling. Hopefully they got their Manchesters wrong!
AC Milan have only Suso as winger now (who isnt sure to stay) because Honda, Ocampos, Deulofeu and Niang are leaving so they need 3 players in those positions; Borini as benchwarmer and 4th choice for 5-6 mln is not a terrible idea imho.

it castles is right, Matic leaving is dependent on Chelsea signing two CM/CDM's not just bakayoko. He said Conte will not sell Matic if he only gets bakayoko
I said this a while back - they would only sell one of Bakayoko or Fabinho, whoever was sorted first. Predictably, Chelsea have beaten us to the punch. Matic for us now.

We can sign Fabinho first - they only said no transfers after Bakayoko.
Seen a few people mention something like this on here and it's not quite right. Guardiola left Barca in 2012, Sanchez left in 2014 - Pep didn't sell him. They had a good relationship and Sanchez's positional issues at Barca post-date Pep's departure. Sure they didn't have a master / apprentice relationship but I've not seen anything from Alexis that's less than complimentary towards Pep.
Regarding the striker / winger issue I've read it's the other way round (at least during his time at Arsenal). He wasn't happy being used as a striker last season as he felt isolated from the game too often. He prefers to play on the left as he's far more involved in the build-up.
For a player who has pretty much done nothing in his career, he has played for some pretty high profile clubs. What's his secret?

I don't think any journo knows what exactly is going on. All of it seems a bit of a guessing game without any real substance. Castles has been reliable recently but at the same time he's also put out a lot of nonsense as well so he's not the all seeing oracle he's made out to be.

Good signing for them. And at least now we can say we got nearly £9m for him in total which isn't too bad.

Could castles actually be onto something here? BBC/Stone not reporting matic because it's a deal that requires chelsea to sign two players before Conte will agree?
