Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

He is sunning himself in the glow of back to back CL wins and the La Liga win. Yes they are successful, but power isn't entirely about winning now, it is about money and there are a lot of rich powerful club out there now who do not have to kowtow to Real Madrid any longer.

Well he is reapeing what he sowed, The Market is so inflated now that Madrid can no longer keep their galactico policy alive and compete for world class players in their prime , Now they are turning to Young players with potential even have to pay extortionate prices. Only thing which is in their favour is they can still bully clubs in spain for lack of Money in their clubs and spain has a good talent potential.

They are getting Rooney so no reason to be moody at all.
That could soon change.

He wanted that shiny sub to be Mbappe. Morata isn't as sexy right now

I don't believe that real can't afford Mbappe. Theyl take him this summer if he wants to come. They can still offload James quite easily by the end of the summer anyway.

I get the feeling he only wanted to move because of the burning need to play every week in a world cup year. He's just desperate to go somewhere that he will be guaranteed game play every week. If Chelsea or Milan come in for him he will be off happy as a lark

You could be right mate, it never struck me as a case of a player desperate to go to United.

Well they've been trying to offload James for a while now and they've had no luck. Unlike Morata Real seemed to be actively trying to get rid of James. Not many clubs can afford his wages. Clearly Real are having issues with FFP if they can't sign Mbappe without making any sales. Considering the amount of problems they've had with FFP in last few seasons I wouldn't be so sure about them being able to sign Mbappe without selling players first.

Hard to argue with selling Iheanacho when you consider the long list of talent ahead of him, in particular Jesus at a similar age. It's not a summer for sentiment given how competitive the league is getting - he'd make a good signing for Leicester though. I'd be quietly impressed with the club if they manage to walk away with the £37m being touted for him and Delph combined - we've not done any decent selling business in a long time.

To be fair to Rooney he could just be picking food up for the kids.
Ive been eating clean for 3 months now and I still make those little trips.
On a side note I never could understand athletes who can't eat right. After 3 months my taste buds have completely changed, right now I wouldn't touch a chip or burger if they were free.

Epitome of Rooney, isn't it? Needing to work his arse off to get into great shape for the pre-season medical and he's slamming a Big Mac in his face. Once he retires he'll go the way of Ricky Fatton.
Dya see that small person in the passenger seat? That's a child, probably his child. Kai. Children like McDonald's, it's a treat for them.

Now let's think why he's at a McDonald's.

Correct me if I'm wrong but FFP has gone to shit. Resident Real fans might be able to provide further info on the financial situation, but the way I see it, Perez and Real didn't want to sell Morata in the first place. I'm struggling to see how Woody did one on him/them. OK we snubbed their asking price, but it's a player they don't want to offload in the first place, not James Rodriguez.

James will leave too, some other big money clubs are just posturing as there is ample of time left in the window. He will be a 50m panic buy by August.

There is every chance he's just getting something for his kid(s)

The only club I could see buying James is PSG. I'd be shocked if any other club bought him. In fact I think we'd be the next most likely club to sign him and I see very little chance of that happening either. For his wages you expect a better player simple as that. He's on the wages of one of the world's best and the reality is he's merely very good. There are better options out there and the clubs that really want him win't be able to afford his wages. FFP has not disappeared btw despite many seeming to think it has. Atletico's transfer ban being upheld should be enough to show that it's not going anywhere soon.

The fat fooka apparently ordered a quarter pounder with cheese meal upgraded it to large and added a double cheeseburger without the gurkin.
He wants locking up.

Jokes on them. Rooney made more money sitting there waiting for their order than the two employees will make all month.
Eat well Wayne...eat well...

Obviously missed all the photo's and vids of him working out this summer.
