Don't mind Jose being pissed. He has every right to expect some transfers to be concluded for pre-season. And club has to look for its long term interests too. Part of the package.

Yea, pretty daft that. I considered him the best striker in PL for the first half of the season. With how things played out with respect to the China interests was his to blame. But then Conte texting him was naivety. Atletico was already interested last season and he would have gone for 50 mill easily. Not right now though.

Yeah, but he's VERY biased towards them. He's supposedly close to Abramovich so I wouldn't be surprised if he's printing this to show Chelsea fans and their manager that they tried, but big mean Manchester paid his agent more (ironic considering the Hazard situation).

Yeah I can see your fans losing patience quite quickly with him on his bad days. he can at times look like a lumbering donkey with all the grace of a chicken on a dance floor . He is an exceptional goalscorer however and if he adapts he'll thrive.

It's just Matt Law (pro Chelsea) trying to save face for the club as he says 'Chelsea aren't willing to match Raiola's fees'. I.e. That's the only reason we missed out on Lukaku.

It is also possible that Chelsea are willing to match United's bid but not willing to match Raiola's fee.

That's the thing that calms me actually.

Raiola is very strong and he moves his players as he wants. If he's on our side, the player will be ours.

Yeh I just read the article. It's strange. Why couldn't he be joining us for football reasons as well. Makes us sound like we are some chump side with lots of coin. We are a far bigger club than Chelsea on the grand scheme of things and I'm sure Chelsea will match our pay package. So how is he joining us for money. It's all over the shop

Despite all the evidence it looks like we're getting him, when a team like Chelsea put a bid like that in, there's always a worry they've been encouraged to do by Lukaku and his agent...
Hope this is resolved in our favour soon or we'll look absolute chimpola

Everton presumably won't care one way or the other, so it's all down to the player. He's free to take either offer.
 
But we're also giving them Rooney so surely they can't match our offer right?
