The Morata saga works in our favour here. Real know we won't be messed around and will move on to other targets if we don't get our way, and they need rid of James.
Sounds like a rumor within a rumor. InceptionDoes any media outlet actually source their own articles anymore? It seems every piece is just referencing another outlet.
Then you'll even find one outlet will reference another outlet that is referencing another outlet.
Then you can even get the coup de grâce when it goes full circle and the original source ends up referencing a source that ultimately leads a chain back to their own article.
Davide Calabria plays for AC Milan, he's clearly making a switch to the dark sideMost likely Calabria.
Must be a big Alex Gaudino fan.
He better be smokescreenI'm guessing him unfortunately.
He could fit in the right-wing, besides #10. It just seems an eventual minor improvement on Mkhitaryan and Mata. Can't see how James will fit into our team, unless we go three at the back. With an assumed 4-3-3 formation and with Lukaku up top, Perisic would be a better fit, despite not being the sexier signing.

Presumably this would be in addition to Perisic? Can't see how James will fit into our team, unless we go three at the back. With an assumed 4-3-3 formation and with Lukaku up top, Perisic would be a better fit, despite not being the sexier signing.

Exactly, me too.Yeah, in a square peg in a round hole sort of way. Those two will do just fine for us so I'm hoping we're in for a more genuine winger.
We need an attacking #8 or a box-to-box player more than a defensive #6 if we're going 4-3-3, basically someone who can also provide goals, more Nainggolan than Fabinho.I am hoping that we go 4-3-3 and buy a winger and a DM. Don't think we will sign more than four players but if we do then I suppose we can have an additional luxury player.
What's the point in that when we have Pogba? We need an attacking #8 or a box-to-box player more than a defensive #6 if we're going 4-3-3, basically someone who can also provide goals, more Nainggolan than Fabinho.

James thrived in a 4-3-3 in 14/15. He could be an asset for us and not a square peg.I am hoping that we go 4-3-3 and buy a winger and a DM. Don't think we will sign more than four players but if we do then I suppose we can have an additional luxury player.
For many reason, but one is: when all our other central midfielders provided the sum of 8 goals, and you're adding one to the formation, he better provide goals like Pogba does or more. What's the point in that when we have Pogba?

Do you expect him to feature as our most advance midfielder, then?James thrived in a 4-3-3 in 14/15. He could be an asset for us and not a square peg.
I think that's a myth, the imprisonment of Pogba. Just look the show he put up for France in 4-4-2. And I hope Mourinho keeps him in a midfield two.But if we free up Pogba, I think he will score double figures next season.

I have to agree with you, loved him in the 2014 World Cup, to me he is brilliant.I'd pay substantially more for James than anyone else, he's excellent. Would complete the jigsaw, perfect age and still has time to improve, I'd happily break the bank for him.
It's a borderline mania. In 1997 social media would have had a #FreeScholes campaign.
Did well, you say…Well he will certainly have more defensive duties in a two man midfield using the 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 formation than he would in a three man midfield. He did well in one recent game for France against an England team that didn't play very well at all.
Ok, but it would mean dropping Mkhitaryan after just a season. The only thing that makes me think we are in for Rodriguez is the fact that we wanted Griezmann. They are both at their best when played behind the striker and Rodriguez might be the back up name for the #10 spot.
If José is looking to use a 4-2-3-1 system signing Rodriguez would make sense.

Why? Mkhitaryan would still be first choice on the right just like he was for most parts last season.Ok, but it would mean dropping Mkhitaryan after just a season.
No? People were sayin Griezmann was going to play wide…James would play the number 10 role and Pogba will play the number 8 role which is his best position, we are not getting James to play on the wing.
What about the winger we're trying to get? I think Mourinho's plan is still to play a forward on one of the wings, a playmaker closer to Lukaku, and a winger now. Why? Mkhitaryan would still be first choice on the right just like he was for most parts last season.
