Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

Based on what? Jose has won the Champions League with two unfavoured teams. Pep has won it with possibly the strongest club side ever.
He also said on Periscope Q&A that Blanc was a faggot who sucks Zlatan's dick, was sent to train with the reserves for that.

I contend that sucking off Zlatan is the most heterosexual thing a man can do.

He tried to replicate Barca that didn't work, he now is trying to replicate Monaco by buying Monaco and suffer the same fate. At which point will he realise that Barca not only had the best players at their peak but were technically light years ahead of everyone else. The players he has bought in are not and will never be at the required level to pull off what the vastly superior Barca or even Munich players could. Short of buying the whole squad it can't be replicated. He's better off trying to get to an achievable style that can work for his players and the league
Good post.

Why? You cannot hold someone's past history against them for the rest of their lives, well unless you were the victim, which I very much doubt,

Why can't I? Playing professional football at the highest level, earning millions and being a role model to others is a scarce privilege. If you cannot behave in a manner that is worthy of deserving this privilege (not assaulting police officers), then I don't think they should be allowed to remain in this honoured role. I wouldn't be holding it against him for the rest of his life, but for his playing career, certainly.

I have huge respect for police officers, regardless of their nationality. If a police officer was found to assault a member of the public with no grounds for doing so, then they would be sacked and have their career destroyed. A professional footballer does the reverse, gets a slap on the wrist and continues his career earning millions like nothing has happened.

Such a person would not be welcome in my football club.

Well in the real world you don't own a club. Footballers get into scrapes, they're human. The law dealt with the matter.

Actually, in most countries the Police are never held accountable for such actions. And not just third world countries.

Spurs doing a lot of selling at the minute

I wonder who they are interested in signing

I think Fazio and N'Jie were sold last season only, I mean they went out on loan with option to buy. So both Roma and Marseille took that option.

Glad he didnt go to City. Have a feeling he may be one of this summers bargains and come next year we will be talking about how we supposedly had interest and why did we miss out on him for £12m or whatever the fee is when he will now cost 70m....this years Dembele....have to agree though was the video editor high?

Absolutely no chance City sell us Aguero.

he should respect his team, manager and teammates. Trying to dodge the trip with his team to force a move is stupid.

Why? It's generally accepted for clubs not to stand in their players way if they want to leave. At least that's how we did it with Ronaldo, or Liverpool with Suarez etc (they stayed an extra season given they had a few years in their prime and then left).

Inter just want to hold him ransom for kicks when he's 28. They think it would have no adverse effect on them by doing that. Perisic is clearly correct in forcing their hand.

Chelsea want Aguero. Pep has given the OK.

And that no doubt means its Sanchez to city

We need to frighten the feck out of Arsenal with a big bid, It might never work but surely you have to try upset this merrygoround.

Offer slightly over the odds

Would Pep really be okay with only Sanchez and Jesus as forwards with all the games they'll have this season? Can't imagine so. Even if he doesn't fancy Aguero much I can't see him selling him. Especially not to a big rival for the title.
