3X? Who are you talking about? Neymar is easily worth over £100m in the current market. Not worth over £200m though

I know. I'm just saying I think he's a better player overall. The other poster was suggesting Perisic was worth more which I'd disagree with. Same way you can say Messi is worth more than Ozil despite them playing different roles

Ok fair enough.

I've seen a lot of Sigurdsson and he's a good player in a terrible team. I wouldn't want him near Utd.

I disagree with you're first statement. I think he's good enough to be in a top 4 team. I agree with your 2nd point though. He wouldn't suit our system.

On top of that, sanches isn't really a defensive midfielder. I don't want Dier particularly but we need a proper defensive midfielder and he seems to be the only one we want whose parent club might entertain the offer.

If Barca aren't willing to negotiate at all and point straight to the clause, then yes. If they are willing to negotiate and give us installment options, then Woody would be camping outside the negotiation room.

I don't know, his buyout clause is just under £200m. I'm not actually sure we could afford that without making like no other signings that summer (or maybe one cheap one). For all people talk about our wealth there are still limits to what we can spend in one summer. I think it's more likely we would agree a deal of £150-70m tbh.
 
Would be great to see Pepe Reina at City and have a reason to hate them even more.

A real calamity goalkeeper and someone I have majorly disliked since his early Liverpool days. Imagine he dislodged their £34m goalkeeper; Ederson!

Yeah, it's a bit much. Seems to me there is much better value in hijacking the Sanchez deal than in triggering the Neymar clause. But EW might see things differently because Neymar has such a powerful image.

Will be wanting same wages as Messi £500,000 thousand a week so £26m a year for 5 years

total outlay £330m and knowing our luck will get injured in first game and will head off to Brazil to recuperate

Quite. We should steer well clear of this. It's just ludicrous to spend double the current world record on a single player.

Let PSG pay it if they want.
