Spending huge money on Fabinho is more wise than on Matic if Both are available and gettable.
Fabinho would be even cheaper probably

Unfortunately you are probably right. I have not lost all hope on Dier however, sources keep telling he wants to join us and "pressure" a move to us..no idea how trustworthy those sources are howeverLevy will not let Dier go especially to us. Radja was never going to leave Roma, just wanted to scare them into a new contract and it worked.
i was so hopeful for this transfer window as well smh

I agree but I thought that about Fellaini so what do I know.Feck it, I'm fine if we sign Matic, I don't particularly care about fees - he's obviously not a terrible player, probably going to be much better for us than we think.
Fergie filled his team with the best players. There weren't many average players I can remember that were regulars.
If Neymar goes to PSG for €220m, Barca may bid for Dybala (it is speculated in the €110-120m range). Juve would accept and then bid for Cancelo as RB, Gimenez as CB and Milinkovic-Savic as CM. I am torn.
Why exactly would you prefer Nainggolan? He's not a defensive midfielder, and is older than Matic.I'd prefer Dier or Radja over Matic, but seems they are not obtainable/too expensive

Yes, very highlyI stopped watch Serie A, is he rated in Italy?

Uhm, Nainggolan is a much better player lad. He is one of the best midfielders in the world. There is reason why 90%of the caf wanted him here. You'd prefer a smoker and unproven in PL over Matic?
Whats wrong with some people![]()

What is it with people always assuming they haven't seen a certain player play, just because they don't agree with them?Plays in a foreign league! That's way more exciting than buying someone from boring Chelsea! Always more exciting when you've never even watched the transfer target play!
They aren't the same type of player. I doubt he could do the job Matic does and vice versa. Jose wants somebody to sit in and stay disciplined.Uhm, Nainggolan is a much better player lad. He is one of the best midfielders in the world. There is reason why 90%of the caf wanted him here.
Ya that's a fair remark. Nainggolan however is an excellent player.90% of the caf wanted Bastian and Morgan.

True, Nainggolan is more of a box to box midfielder. He would suit the premier league exceptionally well. They aren't the same type of player. I doubt he could do the job Matic does and vice versa. Jose wants somebody to sit in and stay disciplined.
He would, but I would say he doesn't want to come here. He seems very settled at Roma.True, Nainggolan is more of a box to box midfielder. He would suit the premier league exceptionally well.

In 4-3-3, I would prefer to have an attacking balance, instead of our present. There is something called Midfeild balance, in a team and Naingolan does not provide that balance, It Would Just be like a muppet signing fans want to see.

He can do it just fine, it's just a waste of resources. Like buying a Bugatti to drive it only in the middle of a town with a 30 mph speed limitThey aren't the same type of player. I doubt he could do the job Matic does and vice versa. Jose wants somebody to sit in and stay disciplined.
Good description, but not sure he would want to just sit. He is a more all action player. He can do it just fine, it's just a waste of resources. Like buying a Bugatti to drive it only in the middle of a town with a 30 mph speed limit
That's the thing. He absolutely can play as a DM -it's where he played for cagliari and every big club in italy wanted him as a DM/CM type- but since moving to Roma he's been unleashed as a monster box-to-box player and shadow striker. It's unlikely he'll want to go back to being a DMGood description, but not sure he would want to just sit. He is a more all action player.
I like Juve and hope you don't sell Dybala. He is the reason Allegri is moving towards a more attacking team. Even with all the signings, Juve will be taking a step back by losing Dybala. If Neymar goes to PSG for €220m, Barca may bid for Dybala (it is speculated in the €110-120m range). Not one bit excited by Matic, he's more of a Schneiderlin type player than a proper dm and I think he'll go exactly the same way

Besides, you have depth at CB and should offload Lemina and Sturaro to get SMS. Cancelo is the only one you might really need.
If Juve would accept €110-120m for Dybala, I honestly think Barca should let Neymar go. €220m is silly money for any player, and Neymar - as good as he is - is not Messi's level and thus isn't going to be sorely missed over the next 5-7 years if they can replace him properly. Dybala is world-class, a couple of years younger and getting better by the season and I think would fit Barca's front-three and style of play brilliantly.
Arguably more importantly than that - they would have €100m or so left to try and fix their midfield issues and find a proper replacement for Xavi or the heir to Iniesta (assuming that isn't Andre Gomes, maybe he'll improve next year, who knows). They could try and get Thiago back for that money...
