This Keita deal is just so strange, I admit that I have not seen him play much but I can't remember anyone ever being linked with such a huge move after one season . Also what boggles my mind is that Liverpool are so crazy about him but not a single other club has been linked with him
Ok tell me, how is that fee so much insane than for say Lukaku or Morata?? Both good players but the market today is insane and if Lukaku is worth 50M and some English players then surely Gylfi is woth the similiar..

Do you think you're being clever or? In sport, it is all about relative strength and our window has not been good so far, let alone great. We had to play catch-up and instead of that we are falling seemingly further behind our rivals.
Now I am not saying we'll be awful next season but this club sets high targets and we look well short of having the tools to achieve those. I hope to be proved wrong come the end of the season but realistically we are nowhere near where we need to be.

Everyone knows the two players we're after and the deals currently appear to be in deadlock. Not much else to say, really.
Most big clubs who can pay those kind of fees for a midfielder need a DM rather than a CM like Keita this window, that's why Liverpool are alone even though there were other weak links with other teams earlier.
I think other teams are looking at him but they have probably asked about availability been told no chance and know he has a release clause that becomes active after next season for i think 48 mil.
Cool your boots. You can take issue with our transfer strategy but to call us cheap is idiotic. Lets wait till the transfer window is actually over before judging its success or otherwise.
Praying RB Leipzig don't sell Keita to Liverpool.. Him, Salah and a solid CB would be quality business for them.

Sorry but Mkhitaryan is clearly way superior to Sigurdsson. I like Sigurdsson by the way. Ultimately somebody is worth what someone will pay for them but I have to admit the proposed fees seem incredible.

City clearly failed him in the transfer window, he needed Messi, Neymar and a genetically created younger version of Xavi to demonstrate his unrivaled football genius. Since City have failed him in the window, he cannot be expected to achieve more than a CL place.

We will hopefully try and get somebody in after the Barca game so they can maybe get involved in the European friendlies and Super Cup. If not I'm sure we will have someone in before West Ham.

He showed it in Europe all last season and now in pre season. Sigurdsson has been in PL for years this was Mkhitaryan'a first season, telling you watch this space.
Veron did the same in Europe but was never as good in PL. Hopefully Mhki will show how good he is next season.
