Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

one of the weirdest things about this summer is how no club has bought him, is there more to the story then we know? Literally everyone in Europe was linked with him in January and now nothing.

hes scored 30+ goals in the last 2 seasons.

He doesn't suit any of the top teams

I feel 1 major reason might have been the scare from the big clubs that he would want to leave for china sometime soon and start off with the antics allover again. Wont be a huge surprise if he does that considering his risk. And considering the fees involved, clubs might feel he is not worth the risk

to be fair to him he was the most consistent striker available in Europe last season after Mpapbe, he scored more goals then Lukaku, Morata, Griezman, Lacazette.

After January window they were strong rumours about PSG and him agreeing a contract so i thought he was going to end up there, i reckon PSG pulled the plug once they knew Neymar was possible.

He had a nice finish yesterday against Bayern

Leicester want £40M for him from non-PL sides. £50M for PL sides :lol::lol:

What an awful website, so much shite trying to load up at the same time it essentially crashed the page, probably spared me a poorly worded article.
I always have that problem. That much stuff down the side of the page and adverts trying to load. Absolutely ridiculous at times.

I'll make sure I never make the mistake of clicking on it again, can't stand websites like that.

Weren't MEN the ones who were adamant we weren't in for Fabinho?

Yes, Cuckhurst called our fans fanboys and threw shit at Di Marzio and his entourage just for Delaney to confirm that we've been in for him but it was too difficult to negotiate with Monaco.

I don't really get this move. Are they going to play Gylfi on the wing?

Barkley is to leave. Wouldn't that free up a space?

Seems fair too me to be honest

Yep, he only signed a new contract last summer after all.

His advisers (aka his agent) advised him terribly. So bad in fact, that Mahrez should probably fire him.

It was obvious that Leicester were a firework that wouldn't last. It was also obvious that Mahrez's heart was not in Leicester and that he would want to jump ship as soon as good offer from a more prestigious club came in. Given all that and considering we're in an era where selling clubs hold all the cards, why the feck did he sign a new contract?

Yeah he got a payrise, but a transfer to a bigger club would have given him that and more. Now he can sit at Leicester for a couple more years until his contract starts to run down. And he better hope that he sustains good form for Leicester for the next 2 years so that these high profile suitors maintain their interest. Though if last season was any indication, it's not gonna happen. If you ask me, he fecked it up and he's not gonna get a big move.

Dembele + Coutinho + Martinez have the potential to make Barcelona a better all round unit for the Neymar's money.

That'd improve their squad, but not their first team. Martinez wouldn't get in ahead of either Pique or Umtiti and neither Dembele or Coutinho are even close to Neymar's level yet (Coutinho never will be).

Surely not...

Agreement PSG-Mbappé. PSG expected to make an offer to Monaco in the coming days. Nike would like to associate Cavani, Mbappe, Verratti and Neymar in their advertising campaign for the 2018 World Cup

Something must be done about PSG and the likes, they are seriously taking the piss if they after spending that sum on Neymar just turns around and spend £140m on Mbappe as well.

Ruining football for serious clubs.

Let's be honest it will be pretty fecking hilarious.

Holy...

If Paris United is as reliable as some people say regarding PSG matters. This is huge.

Think I might have a bet on psg winning the league by a hundred points if this happens :wenger:

Madrid in 2009 did similar & was as serious club as it gets. It's about how PSG can generate enough revenue to make it within regulations. They have plenty of assets to do so.
