Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

I don't even like PB but that's just ridiculous criticism .

The problem is he does it all the time. Journalist will Tweet something, PB will tweet "I think [what journalist said] will happen".

OLD TWEETS #RETROSPOILER

Waits until a journalists Tweets something. Uses "I think..." (or "IMO" in this case) to pass it off as his own information. Does it constantly.

He is expressing his personal views, he isn't reporting.

These tweets are from 9th August? Why post them now?

Put old tweets in a spoiler so they don't show in the new notifications. I thought we were back in for him yet again then.

It has gone into the Transfer Tweets only thread without any text or explanation so is quite confusing.
Eh? It clearly says:

Ajax are basically Spurs' feeder club.

Ajax and Spurs fans get along well - the "Jewish" club reputations and the shared experience of anti-semetism is definitely part of it, and Spurs attitude of "gallant failure" seems to strike a chord with Ajax fans a bit as well (obviously Ajax is the far more successful club historically). Either way, it's a good relationship.

or saying with out saying "Look we all know he is better than Stones and you paid 50m for him"

Feel free to link me to this automated tweets thread.
It's here: https://www.redcafe.net/transfer-tweets/

Notifications of new tweets always show at the top of the page. I'm guessing you must always view the site on your phone if you've never seen it before as you can only see if there are new notifications by clicking the hamburger dropdown menu at the top on a mobile device. There's no text in that thread, just embedded tweets. It's how I (and I'm guessing a lot of others) find out if there are new tweets, which is why I found it annoying to see old ones end up in it.

Putting old tweets in a spoiler avoids this and ensures they only show in the discussion thread, since I am guessing a spoiler counts as text for a post.

As an aside I can only see the transfer tweet notifications on my phone if i hold it horizontal.

Ah right, cheers. I've never seen that before.

Listened to Duncan Castles podcast yesterday and he also said Mourinho wants to get rid of Shaw.

I think Castles reliability is overstated on here.

He's been fairly solid with us, not everything has stuck of course but as a journalist that's going to be impossible due to the nature of the business.

Why do you doubt it? See no reason why Mourinho wouldn't look at him as a viable option.

He's not a natural winger, he's not as good YET as some people claim he is (although he certainly has the potential to be great) and he prefers to drift infield.

We are overloaded with those sorts of players. Mourinho seems to be quite clear in the type of winger he wants and Lemar doesn't fit that bill.
