Transfer Tweets - Summer 2017 | Keep it on topic

It's about fitting the profile of the player we need for that required balance to play against top teams who are proactive in their approach and he is perfect for it.

Not sure about the character, but I'd take the gamble if the rivals are strengthening.

Alright. I don't think he's United quality, whatever that means, but what do I know

If you were Spurs you'd quickly realise that paying the £180k weekly salary that Sterling earns would lead to a squad revolt.

His salary is a big reason why Arsenal don't want him in return for a Sanchez in a potential cash + player swap.

Sterling's salary aside, these are the types of signings that Spurs need but they'll probably never get. It's their own undoing really and shows the difference between being winners, title contenders and title pretenders.

Really boring that our transfer window has closed. (I'm actually pleased we've completed most our signings) but isn't Jose looking for that 4th attacker who can play through the wings.

Pool going in for Lemar and maybe VVD, plus Keita for next summer.

City in for Sanchez who is a match winner. Already brought half of Monaco.

Chelsea looking for homegrown English players Ox & Drinkwater.

Spurs purchasing players you would have to google.

Arsenal are a selling club, everyones jumping that ship.

#Mahrez should commit tomorrow with his new club... Surprise #mercatodz

United sitting pretty at the top of the table with three wins, ten goals scored and non conceded.

I'm sure we ll do some bit of last minute business coming out nowhere. The club seem to be pretty good about hiding things these days and it wouldn't be the first time by any means.. In fact we seem to do it pretty often.

Blow for Chelsea that. Turns the screw on them a bit. I can see Leicester asking more for Drinkwater now and Swansea for Llorente knowing Chelsea will be desperate.

Ox is an okay player but vastly overrated because he is English, not fused if Liverpool sign him or not.

I'd rather Liverpool get Ox then Lemar.
Same. Think their aim would be to get both though. Would give them some depth in midfield.

We should just lowball Arsenal. Offer them £25m now or just sign him on a free transfer if he doesn't want to join anyone else. Arsenal are in a difficult position with this one, but knowing how we operate we will probably offer them £35m+.

Dybala would be an odd fit at Barcelona.

He essentially occupies the same channels on the field that Messi does. I don't see how that would work out.
