Treble_Winning vs The Manchester United Medical Team

It's time to stop joking and get serious. The stakes are very high now at this point of the season. We need to do everything possible, I would hate to lose the FA Cup and Europa League and so would you, no?

I know I'm doing all I can to help us win, I'm just concerned that you're not. Can we be sure our injury crisis isn't down to some gypsy curse on @Treble_Winning ?

Phil Jones injured him in training.

The medical team should have Jones quarantined
Been saying this for a couple of seasons now. Phil Jones always seems to be at the root of training injuries. His 4 months injury free has been great but he should never train with the first team strikers.

I know Rooney is not the player he once was. But he is still United's record goal scorer and the club captain. I don't understand how you think that playing Young or Lingard upfront (neither is a proven striker) would be better than someone with Rooney's experience playing in the position.
Rooney is neither quick enough neither technically good enough to make anything happen against three centerbacks and Kante, I would rather have ANYONE there to provide anything, which is running in behind, pressing, Rooney does nothing including terrible hold up play etc.

This thread is gold. Seen as Treble is still a new member and has reached his posting limit, could the mods perhaps give him infinite posts on this thread? To keep the amusement going.

I do think in light of this unprecedented striker crisis, United should haul the entire medical and dietician team in front of the cameras to answer a list of poignant questions asked by a panel, with Treble sitting as its head. Should their answers not prove convincing, they should be condemned to several 1-on-1 training sessions with Phil Jones until their recognise their mistakes.

I laughed out loud on the bus when I saw Jones was the cause. How many injuries has he caused now? Stranger than fiction.

Love this Meltdown thread, But.....

I will say when one of our players gets injured in training, Phil Jones does tend to be involved in some sort of a collision quite often. Clumsy oaf.

Ahahahahaha

This got to be the angriest threat for something not only we cant do anything about it but nobody at all! Blaming the medical staff for a player getting a flu? Ffs.

As a doctor its amazing the amount of ppl, usually relatives to patients, that have this kind of thinking. We cant make ppl not getting injured or not getting a freaking flu, its something that has been with living beings since always. The pointing fingers, blaming someone for things we cant control, is usually some sort of behavior when someone cant cope with the anger or helplessness. Yes OP, is the medical staffs fault.

What on earth happened to Rashford? What manner of illness has afflicted him? With the kind of modern facilities and medical team that United have got, surely some precautions could have been taken against illness? Diet? Nutrition? Vaccinations? Boosting their immune systems? I can't accept this shit, a club like United needs to do better. We don't see the Chelsea players falling ill or injuring each other do we? This is amateur bullshit at its worst! If we lose, this striker crap will surely be a major reason.
This is an amazing post. How come you aren't a full member yet? This is outrageous, I demand an explanation!

How is it possible that all of our strikers are injured at the same time?? The club should give us an explanation of some sort. When is Jose's press conference?
What the heck is wrong with you? Give your head a wobble mate.

So let me get this straight. Our medical team still hasn't said a thing about those injuries!?

Can't have that, bang out of order!!!

You can get injured walking along the stairs amongst other, many medial everyday situations.

Treble winning is either a top wum or an 8 year old

What the feck happened in here?

On a serious note, if you don't train with intensity you don't play with intensity. The same way that the best marathon runners train to run for longer than 26 miles so that they can deal with the race better.

But let's not stop the medical department get the blame for the fragility of the species..

I think the mods have not quite realised what he brings yet to the forum. Give it time. He will grow into a legend here, I can feel it.

Do newbies get to start threads now?
Thankfully not. This was just a way to keep the Chelsea thread on track. Newbies have unlimited posts in match threads so the thread would have ended up over 100 pages. At least here there's a post limit.

Good thread:D

Very valid point and thread. Personally, I think Jose needs to explain this in his next presser. There absolutely must be accountability for shit like this and heads need to fecking roll. Its absolutely not acceptable that someone just randomly falls ill before a game, the medical department needs to answer for this shit. THE FANS WANT TO KNOW!

Is @Treble_Winning actually Arnab?

I don't even know what to say. It seems it's impossible to express an opinion on here that isn't in line with trending views, and it appears that the current trending views on here are that we are shit, Pogba is shit, Zlatan is shit, Mourinho is shit, etc. I have been right about many things (and proven to be so) particularly my comments and predictions on Liverpool and Chelsea. I've tried to offer solid arguments and never resorted to insulting anyone. Yet I get repeatedly insulted. The title of this thread in itself is an insult. I do not understand what is so amusing about expecting higher standards from our medical team given that we have the best modern facilities and a huge budget. A club like United should never accept second place. We can't allow substandard practices in any area particularly from the support staff because their role is to help the players prepare for games in the best possible way.

If we lose, let us lose because of our own poor performances. I am sick and tired of losing due to injuries, illness, suspensions, ref decisions, off the field drama, etc.
If outcomes were determined solely by footballing displays on the pitch, we would be in the top two, challenging Chelsea for the title and not trying to fight for a CL spot.

It's disappointing that contrarian views are not allowed and instead are met with mocking and derision.

To the people here who have been able to take part in reasonable debate, thank you. There are some of you, in this thread, who agreed that it's not acceptable for Jones to repeatedly injure players in training, or for Rashford to repeatedly fall ill. Thank you for being the voice of reason.

This shall be my final post on RedCafe. I am quitting the forum. I see no point in expressing my view only to be met with personal insults and attacks.

However I shall continue supporting United both live at Old Trafford and at home, and in my day to day life. We will win the title and CL under Jose, mark my words. He is the manager who will build us a new era of dominance.
