On the press conference, I assume that his doctors are not allowed divulge information that their patient doesn't agree to. Otherwise I suppose they could be keeping certain things private for security reasons (not wanting other nations to think that they are vulnerable and why those command planes have been sent out). The editing of the video and the photos being minutes apart could simply be a PR thing rather than being anything really sinister but they forgot about the metadata.
Just speculation on my part, never lived through something like this before.
Edit: didn't Reagan do a cropped photo before days after he had been shot and in the uncropped version he was being held up by medical personnel?
I’ll remind you that Trump has a long history of controlling what doctors say about him. Have we seen anything at all yet to back up these claims that he and his cronies actually have it? I betcha that Pence doesn’t get it...

It wouldn't surprise me if they had some "in case I die" pre-recorded footage of Trump, also they probably have access to high quality deep fake technology.
This is a reasonable enough question folks are asking on twitter. The clothes he's wearing seem to be the ones he wore going onto the helicopter, which would have been removed as infectious when he arrived. Of course, all his clothes might look the same
The other thing is where is this to he's shot it in? The EXIF data of the photos kinda kills any conspiracy theory about that though because they do seem to have been taken yesterday.
And his performance as a leader improved substantially as did his ratings after he kicked bucket.
