Trump Coronavirus (CV in US Politics)

The docs at the hospital he's at can't keep quiet about the insanity.

Surely it isnt sealed at all times.. They might have an option of sealing it.. AC in cars take it fresh air from outside all the time..

And didn't he have the window open?
Completely unnecessary.. dangerous.. sure.. but I find this hard to believe.

Nope, all the windows were closed, keeping his infected breath inside for everyone to breathe in. He waved at the crowd through the glass.

Certainly didn’t look opened or even cracked. That would defeat the purpose of ever riding in the thing.

Yes it has its own environmental system completely. Hermetically sealed at all times.

I probably dont understand what hermetically sealed means..
If its completely airtight and no gas can enter or go out, how does one ride inside it for any length of time safely? Surely you'll run out of Oxygen and have unhealthy levels of CO2

Yeah but it said in a tweet above that it’s reserved for critical patients and if not used properly the steroidal medication can actually make things worse?
The problem is that we have no idea what Trump's health status really was. If he was on oxygen on Friday morning, it can't have been good. Still, it's weird how they seem to have thrown in everything all at once. I suppose none of it is supposed to be too bad in the doses provided, and so they figured they'd go just go all-in. 'Better safe than sorry'. But I'm no doctor, and again, with all the information confusion, it's hard to say what was really going on.

Imagine being a secret service agent sitting across him in the car, as he's coughing, wheezing and tweeting. How do you not pull the trigger?

Found this in a quick search...

The distances these cars are used for are short. If something happened, the other cars that have the reaction forces would be attempting to get the principal out of the area as soon as possible. Extra oxygen tanks would provide more than enough time for the principal to survive inside the sealed vechicle.

Hermetically sealed is another term for being airtight.

One of my favourite replies was suggesting that the Secret Service personnel could have chosen not to go. Other ones were "they were already close to him every day" .

Who is that fecker Kassam? He’s already deleted that tweet apparently. Anything with Michelle Malkin in it needs to be napalmed out of existence.
Old Farage acolyte from the UKIP days.

O2 tanks and filtration systems.

For those questioning if Trump really has Covid...

I know it won’t happen, but each of those Secret Service officers should sue if they get COVID. Signing up to lay your life on the line for the president should not include having to seal yourself in a virus wagon so he can get a photo op.

Someone actually posted on a local news station’s post about this “they signed up to take a bullet for him, I’m sure they’re fine with taking a virus”

That only works if they are fine with fatty being the one who shot the bullet

So, Jared Lorenzen?

Couldn’t remember this fecker’s name! He wasn’t too bad in college at Kentucky. His Wiki has him at 6’4” / 285. Wonder when those measurements were taken?

Before the piano landed on him, presumably

Totally forget he passed last year.

Oh shit I didn’t know that. My joke was in reference to his squashed stature. I presume a piano didn’t really land on him though.

No, blood disorder or something. A video obit was the first thing that popped up on YT when I looked up his name.

You have to be a special kind of narcissist to decide to go on a car ride photo stunt, when your doctor is trying to treat you.

He worked in UKIP with Nigel Farage then stood for leadership then withdrew. He’s also worked with Bannon. Worked for Breitbart as well. Spouts a lot of islamphobic messages and has even written a book on it. Now has a podcast show in America and seems to get wheeled out for interviews like some right wing rep.

The lesson in Trump catching Covid: all the lies in the world can't hold reality at bay

Good piece on the possible outcomes of this mess. Both scenarios sound very likely in my opinion.
The Guardian's had some good columns on Trump recently. Of all the narcissistic things he's done, ordering his driver and security to do a completely unnecessary drive-around just to boost his self-esteem seems to me to be one of the worst. If anyone doubted it, here's the proof that he's selfish to the core. They're not allowed to say "no" to him and he makes the most of that.

All eyes are going to be on whether those agents now test positive. They didn’t exactly look spiritley themselves, could you imagine if one of them tested positive and subsequently died from it over the next few weeks?

You’d hope they would have been sensible enough to have selected agents who have already had the virus and have had a recent positive antibodies test. Unfortunately there just isn’t that sort of capacity for planning in this shit show of an administration.

At this point his supporters are so ridiculous that it creates a need to do stupid shit like this.
