Trump Coronavirus (CV in US Politics)

Jesus. I am a blithering idiot. I must have looked at that list about a dozen times & it never registered. It seemed like it just popped into it, but there’s no edit on the original tweet. Let’s just carry on now, shall we?
 I’ll come clean bud. I edit that in just to mess with you.

I think you've been gifted with the ability to recognize a vampire/non-human in writing, of which Stephen Miller is not human.

Turkey basters can have multiple uses in a household.
According to several instructional movies I recall, so do pool boys, photocopier repair men, delivery men, postmen, cable guys, and a whole host of other male daytime household visitors?

Those public service movies are quite enlightening.

I am late to this party, but does he really have Covid. And if he has and got healed in 3 days, does it reinforce his demi-God status among his core supporters

All we have to go on that he has it is his own word and that of people on his payroll who can’t seem to agree between themselves what treatment he has received, so it’s unlikely.

They won’t release test results and it hasn’t been backed up by any remotely trustworthy medical professional.

Everyone seems to be convinced he isn’t well because a fat 74 y/o man was out of breath after walking up two flights of stairs. We know he isn’t well but I doubt That is because of COVID.

I dunno about the rest of his cronies going down with it.

Feck sake. You ok there buddy? :D

What possible reason could they have to fake his entire posse catching Covid19? Just him catching it could theoretically be faked under the assumption that he would gain sympathy points, but when they've all caught it, one after the other, it just reeks of irony and incompetence. If this was a political ploy, it's the worst ploy in the history of politics.

He's definitely got it. He's an example of how you can recover if you have a whole elite hospital team just looking after you, to the exclusion of everything else. I think thousands of the people who've died would still be here if they'd had the WH medical team and then the top docs from a first-class military hospital monitoring every change in their condition.

Good genes aside, it's the reason why the Queen and Prince Philip are still walking around in their 90s.

This is redcafe, Pex. Everything is a waste of time!
Excuse me? How fecking dare you talk like that. I hate folk like you who are always pushing your agendas on everyone else. You don't do you, but leave the rest of us alone to practice our weird routines using feather dusters and silicon masks in the privacy of our own homes.

Exit: sorry Pogue I misread your post as this;

Thi s is redcafe, Pex. Everything is a waste of time!

This erratic, irrational behaviour is going to kill him in the election. Beginning to wonder if he will get much beyond his base and the never-Democrats. Barely 40% is my current prediction. Still doubt it will translate into the electoral college win the numbers would suggest.

Does anyone fear that he'll die just after re-election and Mike Pence will be in charge? Pence could have almost 3 full terms if I'm not mistaken.

1 term taking over if Trump dies and then 2 more after winning elections as the primary candidate.

I think outside of Biden being found guilty of some nasty stuff, or if a federal investigation suddenly begins a week before the election, or he falls over, Trump is utterly fecked. That's when the fun starts as he'll start throwing executive orders around like they're going out of fashion and will probably sell New York to Putin for a billion dollars and asylum on the Moon.

I genuinely think if Trump loses the election, he’s going to exile to Russia.

Or he could have just had a mild to moderate case. I know someone who’s mum is 95 and caught it in a care home and survived without much drama. She barely leaves her chair.

Hasn't been seen for 48 hours, poll numbers tanking so he thinks getting some headlines about him getting back to work without actually seeing him back at work will halt the decline.

If he took over that early into a term, then he would only be able to run for 1 additional term.

edit for source: 22nd amendment

No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President, for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.

Max is 10 years if he takes over during a term, iirc. So it would basically just be two terms in that scenario. But I do not fear that anyway because short of a miracle Donny won’t get re-elected.

I can't find anything that says otherwise but I did find this interesting

While it is clear that under the 12th Amendment the original constitutional qualifications of age, citizenship, and residency apply to both the president and vice president, it is unclear whether someone who is ineligible to be elected president could be elected vice president. Because of this apparent ambiguity, there may be a loophole in the 22nd Amendment whereby a two-term former president could be elected vice president and then succeed to the presidency as a result of the incumbent's death, resignation, or removal from office (or even succeed to the presidency from some other stated office in the presidential line of succession)

That is most definitely not something I would classify as a miracle.
