Nah, he didn't really ruin them but he joined as a content creator around about the time their content got incredibly rubbish ultimately resulting in them going really downhill soon afterwards. He's good now but back then he...wasn't.

I very much doubt that Trump has recovered. Given his physical condition and the way he was breathing through his arse during the speech, I can't see how he could have possibly turned things around so quickly.
