van Gaal is certainly ringing the changes, isn't he? All Moyes contributed was iPads, van Gaal has already modified our training ground and next years pre-season.

What a load of bollocks. This is the fully grown man who stood outside our training ground for half a day to catch a glimpse of the teenage Luke Shaw.

Given Louis' track record, it wouldn't be that far-fetched would it? The man has been known to take on upper management. Good thing is, they only need to work out how the commerce won't get in between the football.

Wow, that presser lasted about 10 minutes? I'm fecking dizzy thinking about what it means!

Short version: Van Gaal is a fecking genius.

Longer (not by much) version: If we don't win shit, we'll have more fun in a weekend than we did with Moyes over 10 months.

:D

Bazooka!

This! About time they fecking did it out too!

Anyone else think Van Gaal could wipe his arse on a Chevrolet logo, pose with an insurance policy from Aviva (rather than Aon, I guess!), rock up to Carington wearing a Seiko, while eating a packet of Monster munch and still get away with it?

I do.

Its going to kick of with the commercial side and Van Gaal and I hope we side with Van Gaal otherwise we might be needing a new manager!

The media are loving this already.

Because its only going one way and thats Van Gaal out and the commercial side in, we aren't a football club, we are a sponsor showcase right now. Flying, traveling, sponsors all getting in the way of actually competiting in all comps

It only holds significance in pre-season and that was all figured out prior to van Gaal arriving so the situation is understandable and easily fixed in the future.

Van Gaal naturally wants more time with his players, rather than time talking/meeting with sponsors. I'd be more worried if he was saying "we're training well, but need to make more time for our sponsors".

Our pre season this time around after a WC is bit strangely scheduled even discounting the tour portion. Plus he isn't used to players and he having commercial commitments at tour of this level.

Not sure where they are gonna clash to that degree comments are coming from. He is hardly gonna care about Carrington being renamed AON training complex or Mr. Potato being a sponsor is he ?

Both sides will have to adapt a bit. Even Wenger had to adapt with tours after obstructing for years.

To be fair Pochettino was saying almost exactly the same things about Spurs' pre season.

"is not easy for us because we are in the middle of our pre-season, but we understand we are a big club and we need to come here for various reasons, so we have to adapt"
