Were they actually expecting him to pass the medical?

It's ridiculous, isn't it? Was obvious that there was no chance of him passing the medical in his current state yet they still gave him a contract anyway and trying to pull out after it's been signed.

Ah it'll be good to have that slap 'ead back. :D

If by play, he means sit in the reserves, then yes, yes he will. His comments since leaving make him ever being first choice again extremely unlikely.

I haven't seen him at Napoli, but if he keeps up his level of performance prior to being loaned, then I think Mignolet is better.

I agree. Liverpool should offload Reina if they can.

If true, daft of Monaco to get Valdes to sign contract before doing a medical.
Didn't he sign it around January or February, before he was injured?

Can you even do a medical when you're still an active member of another team in a deal like that, I don't remember Vidic doing a medical before singing with Inter.

What comments? And Barney is correct, Reina's best days are long, long gone. What did happen to him? He went from one of the best keepers in the league to a liability.

Good point. Not sure if the contract was signed around then but he was heavily linked and a summer move looked inevitable.

We'll struggle seeing as he's on ridiculous wages.

Good point.

His concentration, for one. We saw it in his final season with Liverpool, mistakes have become quite regular with him.

He's making a joke because you said digressed instead of regressed.

Monaco would make a fair bit of sense (if they get the Valdes thing sorted). PSG doesn't.

Did the font of tweets change?

The Evra thing is on the Fail's website, too. It makes less sense than most transfer bullshit.

can't imagine we'll let Evra go as otherwise we've no left-back cover and I don't imagine scratching around hastily for a replacement for him is something high on our list.
