You know what's happened? Woodward put out a conference call to all the shit journos, Mirror, Sun, Express, Jackson, etc.
while on the phone one of them has asked; "are you in talks with Juventus over the sale of Arturo Vidal" taking the question literally after shrugging his shrugging his shoulders and looking confused, Woodward has responded thus:
"No I am not in discussion with Juventus about the sale of Arturo Vidal".
This is of course, because he couldn't have been, he was on the phone to the journos at the time.
Case closed!

seems to move in waves. firstly everyone's on it, then everyone's off it.
All these reporters suddenly coming out one after one saying there's nothing in it is super odd. can only be a mass briefing.

Agreed. They're all saying it, which makes me think:
1. We've fed them bullshit
2. We are legit not in for Vidal
3. We fed them bullshit then contacted Juve on the same day...
Not really, if they wanted to be smart and keep people guessing, they would have denied this earlier.
Pretty obvious all the shite journo's have been briefed, hence all coming out with this bollocks at the same time, as they did the other day with whatever it was. If news is gonna break about a new signing or something like that, it's more likely to come from abroad first if it's regarding a foreign player, obvious we're staying tight lipped on our side.
I can certainly see LVG wanting this. He's all about control and doesn't like the media one bit so can certainly see him and Woody agreeing on it as a club direction.

I remember hearing that Moyes and Woodard wanted to be a little more transparent with the fans last season... Good to see Woodward has learnt from his mistakes!
Didn't the Mirror, the paper DiscorMirror works for report 24 hours ago we are interested but not at 34mil and then after say something about us cancelling the deal because of Vidal's knee. Now Vidal has never even been on are radar. Jackson even said earlier today Vidal is on LVG's radar and he's saying he isn't.
