Apparently Graham Hunter has said on 5live that we're in for Di Maria. He's rejected PSG as he doesn't fancy France and has also rejected United due to no CL.

Don't want Cleverley to go anywhere. Good squad player and LVG might be able to get his confidence back up which he lacked for most of last season under Moyes. Unless there's a good offer for him I see no real reason to be targeting him to leave.

Bless you.

I'd keep Nani too.

Jesus, besides Rooney, if we do get rid of Nani and Anderson then I think that is nearly our whole squad from Moscow gone.

Says who? Did a quick twitter search and found nothing.

We have to get over this sentimentality crap. Nani has been average for too long now, he's a had a chance to prove us all wrong and he hasn't.

He's flashy, goes missing in too many matches and has injury problems too. Sell sell sell! Bring in hungry, talented players that will work their arse off for Van Gaal.

Has he had that many chances to prove us wrong though? He's either been injured or not getting a look in for the last 2 years.

I'd be delighted if cleverley and young left, both are stealing a living at this club. I'd keep zaha for another season though.

Just Rooney and Fletcher remain.

Starting XI: vdS; Brown, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra; Hargreaves, Scholes, Carrick, Ronaldo; Tevez, Rooney
Subs: Kuszczak, O'Shea, Silvestre, Anderson, Giggs, Nani, Fletcher

Chelsea have Terry, Mikel and Cech remaining from their squad.

It's never going to happen anyway. di Maria wouldn't turn turn PSG for Liverpool, even if the former were in the Romanian league.

Yes he's had plenty of time. I don't get the Nani obsession here, I noticed it in the newbies as well.

I am glad Tony V has extended his stay because he can make a good squad player and be our 'Dirk Kuyt' if you like. He'll roll up his sleeves and run all night. Nani had that one decent season, I loved watching him. But he's a shadow of that player now, he needs a new challenge in Italy or Spain. Sell whilst he is still worth something.

And Carrick.

I know he's injured, but Carrick is still here ;)

They were talking to some Spanish "expert" on Talksport last week and they said the reason that Di Maria rejected us was because his sponsors have demanded that he play with a Champions League club.

What Nani obsession? Pretty sure there's only a few who could be accused of being blindly supportive of him, it's not a forum-wide trend. Most fans just recognise he's talented and that he could be worth persevering with as a member of the squad.

We're very quiet, too quiet to my liking. Seems to me that Van Gaal is indeed taking his time to assess the squad. The one summer we are in dire need of improvement.. Hope he is not going to chance it with these group of players because we are going to fail miserably even with his experience and management. We've lost too many key players this season in order for it to be ignored.

Evra,Vidic,Rio - is way too much quality leaving in one summer, we need to replace them with quality players along with our dire midfield which needed sorting since WW2.

I've read lots of Nani love since registering here is all. I don't understand it at all. I wouldn't lose any sleep on us getting rid of Young, Nani, Cleverley, Fellaini and then bringing in Vidal, Hummels, De Fridge. Our squad needs trimming down.

Oh well, different opinions and all that. I'd rather we kept Cleverley as I think with some pressure taken off him and with a new regime he could become a decent squad player. In truth, none of us have a clue who van Gaal will like and who he won't.

 that's hilarious.

Reject the most supported club in the world, in the most watched league in the world, the most commercially successful club too because we aren't in the UCL for a season.

Honestly the idea of someone rejecting us because their sponsors think it will limit their exposure and sellability is hilarious.
