Don't think he is giving info there. He's saying United have apparently bid as in referring to reports in Spain and taking bit of a sarcastic dig.
I asked afew Italian fans on twitter and they say he's a reporter who presents a programme called Panorama and works for SkyItalia

Well they still produce some good players, its just that they sell them and buy them back if they turn into stars.

Carvajal was the only one they bought back ? And he is hardly a star either, tbf. They bought him as he was cheap for a defender, i imagine.

If you compare our squads it's ridiculous how far behind we are of the European elite.
