Madrid rejects - Makelele, Robben, Sneijder, Ozil and potentially Di Maria and Khedira quite ridiculous isn't it.

Possibility of Benzema, Isco, Casillas and Varane if rumours are true.

...............Casillas
RB........CB.....Varane....Coentroa
.........Makelele-Khedria
Robben-Ozil/Sneijder-Di Maria
..........Higuain/Benzema

With the right CB and RB that's a possible CL winning squad

5 of those players are still at Madrid though...

They just can't help themselves.

Since their 2002 Champions League win they have won the league title 4 times, Champions League once and a couple of Copa Del Rays. All whilst having the aforementioned players, plus Figo, Beckham, Casillas, Raul, Zidane, Ronaldo (the), Ronaldo (Cristiano), Kaka ... It really is an utter shambles that those honours are all they have to show for nearly just over a decade of ridiculous spending, coupled with their obvious pulling power and a league that has mostly been contested by 2 superpowers.
Perez is so obsessed with having the best he can't help himself. Getting rid of Makelele was one of the club worst decisions. I remember seeing a ridiculous fact that they spent over 1 billion Euros since 2002.

Garay can take on of the CB's role. Albiol as makeshift RB ?

Et'oo and Morientes as well going back to Makelele time. Cassano, Samuel, Cambiasso, Anelka et all as well.

Nah, Eto'o was with Madrid as a youngster and was sold to Mallorca before going to Barcelona. Should be in that reject team ahead of Benzema. They had one of the best strikers of his generation in their youth academy

Hell, Inter Milan's 2010 CL winning team was built around Madrid rejects; Sneijder, Eto'o, Samuel, Cambiasso

If they sell Varane Perez is a bigger idiot than I thought. I'd sell both Ramos and Pepe before him.

They would keep Ramos over Varane because Ramos is Spanish

Vidal is supposed to be back in Italy on the 25th of July so hopefully from then on we will find out if he is staying or going.

So Real have spent almost the same money on him as they did Ronaldo and Bale.

EDIT: Maybe not the same amount of money, but not too far off is it?

Those stats are from Ligue 1 too.....

I thought it was 28th? Or is that when he is due 'back to work'?
28th was what I believed

Didn't Allegri give the Juve World cup players an extra week off when he was appointed?
Yes but AIUI that just means he doesn't have to return to training for an extra week, he will still be back in Italy

Wrong thread maybe, but it is a response to the Twitter speculation..

.. Has it actually been confirmed that Ed Woodward did leave the USA tour?

I just don't understand why he'd have to leave the tour to complete transfer business?
Surely we'd be able to complete a medical, sign contracts and unveil the player in the states?

As I've said on here before, the man himself said he is going to enjoy his holiday until the 28th at which point he will return and discuss/decide his future, anything written before that date is 99.9% bollocks, chill and wait for him to come back at the end of the week and we will then see

tbf I did say this.

Or, its nothing to do with transfers at all, and he is actually going back to do the other 95% of his job.

Very true, the general opinion just seems to be that he'll go back to deal with transfer business, which made me wonder why people were so certain that was it, since we'd have no problem dealing with it abroad.
