For fans of the Van Gaal hug, check out the reaction after with the fans cheering him.
Something to watch while we are preparing our bids.
I was there. Beyond the hug, he "high fived" countless players when they did well (identical to when he high fived RvP for his diving header goal at the WC).

Went down with the players and fans I take it? For me he's lifted our spirits from what I've seen.
There's a video of that! He high fives all the players after they score and even hugged a few. How was it seeing the training session in person?
I've watched a couple. The last one with Fergie in charge, which was run almost exclusively by Mick Phelan. This one was dominated by Van Gaal. He was nitpicking just about every aspect of the corners, give and go drills, as well as the training match.
So very different Fergie's training then? Giggs and the other coaches weren't very involved much I take it.
Would be quite underwhelming if we ended up with Shaw, de Vrij, Vermaelen, Blind and Herrera after all that talk.
I very much doubt Woodward would be saying what he has (twice now) lately if we were only going to get those players, he knows people wouldn't take him seriously anymore and a lot of fans would be pissed off after he has been bleating about how big we are and how much money we have.I agree. Feels like if there was ever a Summer for a statement signing, it would be this one. Obviously we want the best players for United, not the flashiest. But would be very nice to send a statement. Especially after last Summers shambles.
Giggs was involved, but was clearly a side show. Van Gaal was like a General barking out orders to his troops.
So they all fluffed it and missed his hand? Seems our high-fives need some work.I was there. Beyond the hug, he "high fived" countless players when they did well (identical to when he high fived RvP for his diving header goal at the WC).
Any chance of a summary of today's Twitter news for those who've just got in from work?
Nowt of significance.
4 names popped up from Ducker last night just before the press conference and others have ran with them. Vermaelen, de Vrij, Blind and Hummels.
Klopp says Hummels is a bullshit story and he'll eat a broomstick if it happens.
Vidal is anywhere from 30m to 60m.

Thanks!Summary:
- Crerand is claustrophobic and doesn't fare well in lifts. His room is on the fourth floor so he uses the stairs.
- Cheapest rooms at the hotel are $515 per night and small glass of orange juice costs $10.
- Giggs sat down with reporters. One asked what they called him now, and Giggs jokingly replied "How about doctor?" (he got an honorary doctorate earlier this month).
- Until this morning there wasn't much mention of United in USA Today or the Los Angeles Times
- Plenty of fans and media watched United train at the Rose Bowl last night and van Gaal remonstrated with players who didn't do as he asked, and high fived those who did.
Plus add-ons?! Wow!
