Oh come on this is nothing, after a long flight the last thing he wants to do is answer more questions about his future. He's said several times "I will wait until I get back" to have reporters hassling him into an answer is nuts. I believe he literally meant "no, no" as an immediate reaction to get them off his case. Perhaps the question is taken out of context "are you going to Manchester now" well of course he's not, he's just landed in Italy he needs to talk about it and think. The natural reaction is "no, no" he probably had to stop himself short of saying "well see" or "that will come later" as to not create a media frenzy.

Well what should Vidal say ? That he is GOING to Manchester ? Who the f would go from Italy to England - that is a pretty darn long walk I tell you. If he had been asked "are you flying to Manchester ?" - he probably would have given another answer!

And that is my interpretation of it all :)

He had a poor game, I think it will take a super human effort from Fletch to ever get back to starting line up. But, LvG respects the player already here and that is the statement I think he was sending out with the choice of captain.
 
The level of muppetry going on in this thread is brilliant, keep it up chaps.

On serious note, although he'd be a perfect signing for us in many of our opinions if it doesn't happen then so be it, I trust Louis to bring in someone who fits his style perfectly which says to me a likely bid for Kevin Strootman over the coming months.
 
We need the maker of last years "Thiago-o-meter" to do one for Vidal this year. The muppet levels are fluctuating on a daily basis
 
It was a tweet saying talksport are saying united are close to cuadrado for 27.5 million. Its been deleted by the person who made it. I never wum , transfer Serious business for me.

  • First question asked at post-match press conference was why Hernandez did not play.
  • United bus was caught up in Los Angeles' traffic yet again even though they had a police escort and match was almost delayed. United arrived half an hour before kick-off.
  • Official attendance of 86,432 and many were queuing 30 deep to get their picture taken in front of a huge Chevrolet sponsored billboard of the squad with a Chevrolet pick-up truck on top.
  • Becks and his sons were present. One idiot though it wise to throw a cup full of water from high up in a stand towards the Galaxy dressing room where Brooklyn and Cruz were standing. Nobody was hurt, but security staff took a dim view of the incident.
  • Evra popped in for a bit at the hotel.
Nothing of note, really.
 
The official Liverpool forums wanking over some tweets saying Van Gaal has rejected Utds approach for Vidal and Liverpool are in the driving seat for him.

I know the chance of that happening is low but feck me it would be frustrating.
