Don't know for sure but i think He was asked about Strootman in general, and said he is recovering from injury etc. And straight batted the transfer question.

So yeah, Ogden is correct factually even though bit of extra innuendo, while Ducker took it one step further and said that he had said he will move for him based on his fitness.

Edit - Guess someone can see it on TV later and tell us.

When Ducker is twisting things (not the first time this window), it's fair to say the club isn't giving anyone even the slightest wee little sniff of any real news.

Cheech also came back early due to commercial sponsor stuff probably in the USA. He is huge with the Mexican Americans there and getting the most attention as well on tour as per reports. So bit like Kagawa coming back early in Japan.

Doubt anyone is that keen on Fellaini. ;)

Yes. Chicharito came back Tuesday though. So Fellaini and Januzaj should be back pretty soon. Just thought there might be an exact date.

No idea when they're back, I didn't know when Chicharito was until Friday gone, so maybe they'll be back soon too, and we just haven't heard anything.

Mexico were knocked out on June 29th, Belgium July 5th, so a week between the 2. Should be back soon by that I guess.

LvG and Mourinho have always got along well, Van Gaal taught Mourinho pretty much back in his Barca days.

They've never competed against each other though, other than the champions league final.

But I think Mourinho would be respectful to Van Gaal unlike Wenger :lol:
 
it's kinda strange that the only managers who seem to tolerate Mourinho and vice versa - are ours.

He is insinuating Shaw only joined United over Chelsea due to wage, which if you believe the story is not true, since Shaw wanted to join United since January.
He is also attempting to raise eyebrows within United dressing room with regards to Shaws wages.

LVG seems pretty open about his tactics and lineups prematch. I know its preseason but I noticed it during the world cup too. He was pretty open for example that he'd be playing a 5-3-2.

Seen Mourinho a few times before big games read out his teams in press conferences.
 
Did he mention anything about the extent of Herrera's involvement in the Roma match?

Will probably just play 1 half, he said there will be 2 completely different teams each half other then cleverley and Blakett playing the full 90.
 
So we have more or less confirmed our interest in Strootman then.

Aye, I think he's gettable too.

A midfielder right now and Strootman in January would be pretty good. Would've ideally liked to see two midfielders but think if we can get Strootman in January, then it'll be worth the wait.

I think you'll struggle to get him in January. Next summer is when the deal will probably happen, unless you throw an excessive amount of money at Roma or they have a disastrous season.

Depends on the players. If he forces a move, then not sure if Roma will want him to keep particularly if we bid something like 25-30m for him.
