UEFA Champions League Quarter Final fixtures (9th - 10th, 16th - 17th April 2019)

Lloris is not much of a goalkeeper but he'll keep out a penalty once in a while. De Gea please take note.

I can understand (and still find it harsh) to give the pen because the ref just follow his rules like a bot but however why the feck would he book Rose for that ?

His hands were above his head and stopped it from going towards goal - it's definitely a penalty. Not sure it's a yellow card, mind.

Amazing stuff. No one appealed. No one even noticed. VAR makes the referee the most important player on the pitch.

What is it with BT and picking ridiculously biased commentators for matches?

Rose slide in with an arm flailing in the air. The thing is these handballs are not necessarily that harsh, just decisions that don't get picked up immediately.

Of course that was a penalty. That shot was going on target and Rose put his elbow up. Tough shit.

These commentators are absolute idiots. Especially Jenas, if that is who it is.

The last pen I see Aguero take was pretty shit as well. Would have been saved if Chelsea's keeper was in a better frame of mind.

Who made jenas boss of VAR. Stop whinging you fool. Stonewall penalty.

Same thing for United, except that ''hand ball'' was from a shot even closer to the player. Never a fecking penalty and harsh as feck on PSG too.

All the bleating about this handball thing. The only thing that matters is that they are consistent with it.

If they give every one the same then it's fine.

Our pen was right though.

So was Cities. They were the same, if anything Rose arm was further from his body than Kimpembe's. Rule needs changing tbh.. neither should be peno's.

It’s a penalty. His arm was up, it hit his arm and changed the flight of the ball. Simple.

Kane is an absolute prat

The rules are fecked. That should never ever ever be a penalty, just like the United one a few weeks ago.

Rose was surely bringing his arm down to the floor though? Whereas the PSG one had his arm in the air, jumping.
It is a stupid application of the rule for 2 very different situations. Kimpembe looked and then extended his hand but Rose couldn't attempt the block without extending his arm

How can anyone say thats not a pen.:lol:

City pen and kane going down :lol:

I hope the Spurs fans at least know they're talking bias nonsense. Fecking stonewall

Ideal result here is Spurs knock them out of the CL put roll over for them in the league.

Exactly. Everyone knows the rules now. Same rules for everyone.

The rules are if the hand is in unnatural position its a pen, so they are consistent with it.
