UK Riots (with the exception of Manchester which has its own thread)

Did anyone just see 'Big Jim' the shop owner on sky news? Kay Burley asked him to describe exactly what happened and he said it was black people in hoodies, and when she kept banging on about white people being there too, he said "well yeah I was the white one there"

 fecking hell.

I just burst out laughing, damn I was doing a good job of pretending to work up till then.

Cameron is determined everyone, it's all ok.

That is Police capturing a looter from a shop in Clapham by the way.

It seems there is alot of public support building for the cops in the capital.

That seemed to be a lot more about hatred for the looter than support for the police.

I've a horrible feeling that tonight will be all about pitched battles between 'civilians'. Which could get really nasty.

Has his P.R. department told him to roll his shirtsleeves up yet, to show that he means business?

the police response has been absolutely pitiful. "this will not be tolerated", well dont fecking stand back and watch them do it.

hard handed tactics required imo, plastic bullets and water canon must be deployed if this cont

Forget rubber bullets lets use real bullets shoot to kill.

I think Modern Warfare have just been given their next installment - rioting in London!!

Ah fecking hell, it's started over here with a few shops, but nothing overly serious yet, tonight is going to be shit.

I heard a lad was in the snowdome trying to melt the snow with a lighter. Carnage!

Are you living near to where this is happening?

I live very close, there's only a few places that can even be targetted as we have the main city centre bit, which will be the focus, Bletchley which will turn crazy, that's a place no-one wants to be if this starts there, and finally Kingston.

I'll be there tonight so I'll know if it's just speculation or what the situation actually is, but I won't hang around if it kicks off. I think we are very unprepared for anything like what I saw yesterday, especially in central mk.

There's an extremely bad neighbourhood just next to the centre, I think that's where the problems will start from. A lad was shot and killed there the other day, a boy had a dispute, couldn't locate a gun to buy, so he got on a bus, went to Holland, got a weapon, came back, shot the kid in the face immediately. Another kid was also shot next to him, but survived. Fishermead. It's a fecked up place.

Commadus, it appears that killing everyone is your solution to all problems. :D

 Apparently Mockney was in that middle class police clapping and clean up effort in Clapham... He says they're making signs now. And clapping them. Clapping signs. In Clapham.

They're now doing a mexican wave with brooms and putting up bunting. That's right, bunting.

I suspect a raft of measures post these rioting where our civil liberties will be trampled upon again.

Will this be the generation of Baby Looters?

Pretty much. We need population control - people don't like to talk about it but I am sure its crossed peoples minds.

:p

They won't have the stomach for it, if the police turn up with water cannons and plastic bullets they'll feck off home.

The longer this persists the more neds around the country will think they can go on a consequence-free rampage. I can see some locals losing it and pounding the little shits - good luck to them.

I want to go on a consequence free killing rampage........

Give me a gatling gun, a van full of ammo and 1 day and I swear London will be cleaner than a Swiss Alpine Village!!

The Police, or Feds, depending on which side of the law you are on have just evacuated my mate's offices in Ealing. Apparently it's all about to kick off again.

I'm not sure calling police "feds" puts you on either side, it's just another name for them.

Do be careful....and stay alert.

It's even more worrying when we have caftards in the middle of this. First Mockney and Kinky, now you. :nervous:

Btw..don't mention it to anyone but if you get the opportunity I could do with a new tele...preferably 36" but any size will do. :D
