What colors are we wearing today? Is it maybe Arsenal's mucus-colors against our black kit?

We're at home so, yes, playing in our traditional black kit is obvious.

Just one hour to go now... Campbell is not in the squad according to ESPN. :smirk:

Word is Sol has no traveled up with the squad

Manchester news, Keane in for Butt, otherwise unchaged from Tuesday (as I kinda predictred earlier, I thought Ron would not play even though I wanted him to)

Sol is out of the game, Pires and Wiltord dropped.

Disappointed that Ronaldo isn't starting... :(

Hope he gets at least 30min

can anyone please post a radio link as soon as one is available.....thanks

Rons in must mean Ole did not shake off that knock he picked up aginst the Greeks.

Chat rooms the place for quick and biased match commentry.

So

--------------Howard
--Gazz----Rio---Mickey---JOSH
--------Kean----P. Neville
Ronaldo----Fortune-----Giggz
------------Ruud--------------

Fortune our playmaker in the middle? Interesting, let's see what comes out of it. I have a strange feeling that it will end up 3-0 United, and Arses will say that they had a depleted squad.

I shelled out the $16 and get to watch the match live...come on United...of course, the last time I shelled out money to watch my team on PPV, Texas was thrashed by UCLA, 66-3, at home... :nervous:

Argh he always had a gd record against them. Hope we don't miss him too much :)

Ok corrections, giggzy in the middle. Now I am excited about that. The best playmaker we currently have, gigzy should tear up tourets and keown.

mrMarcelo, please provide some updates. My wife is not too keen on PPV :)

So far, through the first 10 minutes, both squads are having a hard time maintaining possession. Sort of feeling out the game. I haven't seen a shot attempt yet. The game has been a bit physical, but not like the FA Cup last year. I expect things to really heat up in the next 10 minutes and soon I expect one team to get a good shot on goal (hopefully United).

Ole is not listed on the subs sheet. Is he still hurting?

 Giggs free kick from 35 or 40 yards bounces in the area and hits the post. He had Lehman beat. So close.

anyone in the USA having a problem getting the game on Comcast????? I ordered the game yet cannot get a picture! The Comcast CSR is no use either.

United have made two solid attacks into the Arsenal goal area the last couple of minutes...just can't find that space to get a good scoring chance...Ronaldo let a cracking left footed shot sail over the bar...when he took it, it looked like it would be on goal but kept rising.

O'Shea wins corner which is cleared...then United kick ball out of play...it seems to be a matter of time...wait, ref rules throw in to United...no back to Arsenal...

Handball...just outside the area...it was not deliberate, goes for corner kick...which is cleared by Lehman...United regain possession and attack...wasted pass by Phil...turnover...

Ronaldo's good move inside ends in weak shot on target, easily saved by Lehman.

The match seems to be like the Liverpool matches with United...a possession game with little space around the goal area...Arsenal seem to hoof the ball forward to Henry on every break resulting in offsides call or easy take by Howard or a United defender...hopefully the game will open up a bit more in the 2nd half.

All the creativity comes from the right, ie Ronaldo. Nothing from the left.

Need Giggs on the left wing and would be nice if Forlan or Ole was playing behind the striker right now. I hope SAF takes Phil off to start the 2nd half, moves Fortune back with Keane, and throws Forlan on to play behind RVN, moving Giggs to the left. The trio of Ronaldo, Forlan, and Giggs should open up space.

Ronaldo has been bright in the first half. Ruud being marked out, could do with someone sitting behind him. United doing all the attacking. Arsenal looking to counter. Needs a goal from Utd to open it up. C'mon the lads

united in control from the middle of the park, giggsy's looked very sharp, full of flick-ons and diagonal balls.
the young lad's giving arse a hard time, early on they were catching him alot and giving away free kicks "same old arsenal, always cheating"
arse are looking to hit us on the break but our buildup play is patient and not too wasteful and when they do hit us usually were well stocked for cover.
we just need to avoid any mistakes at the back.
i must say phil's having another blinder, he's becming a very efficient midfielder, a couple of tackles in the first half were marvelous, on henry in particular, and from the middle both his positioning and his distribution are far better.
Marcello, giggs cant run at defenders from outwide for 90 mins anymore, but i think he's finally adapting his game consistently, he looks dangerous buzzing round ruud.

Ronaldo free kick is cleared by Arsenal which leads to a counter and a corner for Arsenal...fortunate for United, Arsenal only had two players attacking otherwise United would have been in trouble...foul on Arsenal in the box...goal kick to United.
