I hope the FA envoke a ban on that monkey face twat. And I hope they do the same for that cnut Lauren as well. Prick.

There was no need for that at the end of the game.

I've always felt fighting should be allowed in sports...just only one-on-one, no two or three on ones...hockey allows this and that is why you rarely see taunting and cheap shots...if a player takes a cheap shot, he knows damn well the next time he is on the ice, he will get a cheap shot on him or a beatdown...in such case as this penalty miss, someone should have come in and just bashed Keown.

I agree i dont know how not one united player didnt get in keown's face at least. Or how ruud didnt react to five players jumping all over him. I felt like jumping through the screen to beat some arse down.

He was further off the line than Cudicini against those Scouers.

Vieira's 2nd was unexcusable, he showed intent to kick Ruud and that is that, whether there was contact didn't make any difference.

Exactly and the first card came from a little tackle on Fortune but he wouldn't come to the referee, saying that he was warned once or twice for late tackles. Fully deserved the 2 yellow cards he let himself get wound up.

Ruud should have done an Inzaghi and get the lot of them red carded for violent conduct, or even point deduction for the Arse.

A step off his line. Very tough call TBH.

The refereeing was shite; Henry wasn't offside, Keane's booking was a joke, Vieira's second yellow was harsh, Cole should have been off, Lemon should have been at least booked for running after Ruud and shoving the linesman, and that mob chasing Ruud at the end...

I don't think Vieira's second booking was harsh. Had Ruud been half a yard closer (and there was no way Vieira knew the exact position of Ruud) it could've injured him.

Lehmann should've been booked twice tho.

Overall a crap match by Bennett.

That's true, I forgot how he walked away from the first like that. I take it back, deserved red.

Lehmann should have been sent off for shoving the linesman out the way.

No, we don't need cheating. Discipline and fairplay. Of which Arsenal know nothing about. Gillespie and Gunnerwin should be ashamed of their team, but they won't, they'll come on here mouthing off about RVN cheating and diving and stuff. The penalty was just, Keown tackled Forlan in the box. The taunting after the miss was unprofessional and the players should be fined and suspended accordingly. Ridiculous behavior.

they better have 2 refs for the rematch
They better give us good ol' Mike for the rematch.. ;)

No seriously, I think this is a real course for concern and maybe hiring Collina from Italy might be a good idea. :smirk:

Wenger is slating Nistelrooy on sky sports saying he should have been sent off aswell as Vieira bollocks. Oh and he actually seen the Vieira-Ruud incident so he obviously got new specs no more :wenger: can we have a new smiley.

He does indeed have new glasses... I wonder what he made or the reaction of his players after the final whistle?

So what has Fergie said?

I hope he's fecking angry...
Didn't see an interview on ESPN.

Keano said something like we're disappointed but that's football.

Let's be honest here.

If you were RVN and you went into a fight against Keown, you'd spend the next few weeks in hospital.

Im sure i read that Ruud was a black belt in some martial art, hence the quickness of his feet, so id place my money on the Ruudmeister. But on the other hand, Keown has less to lose with his 'pob-like' features...

I'm glad that Ruud didn't retaliate against all those Arsenal players taunting him, not to mention the utter frustration he would've felt after blowing the game on a penalty miss - very admirable self-control. The last thing we need is Ruud suspended. Seeing Keane beating the tar out of Keown would've been consolation for the disappointing result, IMO ;).

I knew as I saw the Arse teamsheet that Keown would have a kick-off at some point against Ruud.

That show today was a fecking disgrace. I haven't seen anyhting like it so lacking in sportsmanship or class. It shows the Gooner bastards for what they are: a bunch of strutting preening cnuts who are nowhere near as good as they think they are.

The penalty was shite btw, but Ruud will get it right. How he kept his cool, I'll never know. The Arse should get points deducted for this latest disgrace.

i agree on the "fecking disgrace" part. arsenal are showing there true colors. they should be fined and made to lose points.
I really hoe rudd gets it right soon. he is starting to get to my nerves!!
