I know even the best of strikers will make glaring misses.

But Giggs has an excuse. He isn't the best of strikers.

Do you think he and Ole might change positions - PLEASE!!

Giggs is a one-footed player. A top striker might have a natural right or left, but can use either equally well.

I'd expect Gary Neville to put this one in with his left foot.

Mind you, not a lot of players would have gotten the best of two arsenal players to get that chance with the empty net.

It is very unfortunate for him.

But can't put all blame on him, IMO Arsenal played better in the 1st half. We must up our game in the second half.

And I still don't get the advantage of Giggs playing in the centre, Fergie please switch he and Ole back to their original position!

If Giggs was a natural striker maybe he would have kept the ball lower, rolled it into the net, or whatever. But he isn't, and it was on his wrong foot as well.

All very well to say a professional footballer should score in those positions, but it was a good strike on his weaker foot in all fairness, and had it come from Ole or Ruud, maybe I'd be a lot more disappointed.
 
I'll say one thing in Giggsy's defence. His pace and skill got him in that position to score the goal. It was a bad miss...but we just have to forget about it and get two goals in the second half.

Arsenal controled the midfield before they scored, and in general they kept the ball much better than us.

We began to improve towards the end of the 1st half. Hope in the 2nd half we continued to improve and passed the ball better.
