there's no excuse for that(unless I am missing the gist of your post...not like that has ever happened before). why did he have to hit it in the air? roll it along the floor you fool!

And your point is? A proffessional player can't roll a ball along the floor with his weaker foot? He didn't have enough time to switch it onto his left or dribble it right up to the goal? plese, there are no excuses for that miss.

Giggs is a one-footed player. A top striker might have a natural right or left, but can use either equally well.

I'd expect Gary Neville to put this one in with his left foot.
Mind you, not a lot of players would have gotten the best of two arsenal players to get that chance with the empty net.

Giggs won us the semi in 1999, and could be instrumental in us losing it today.

It is very unfortunate for him.
But can't put all blame on him, IMO Arsenal played better in the 1st half. We must up our game in the second half.
And I still don't get the advantage of Giggs playing in the centre, Fergie please switch he and Ole back to their original position!

Arsenal controled the midfield before they scored, and in general they kept the ball much better than us.
We began to improve towards the end of the 1st half. Hope in the 2nd half we continued to improve and passed the ball better.

Yes, no good to moan about it at this time. Com'on and beat them in the 2nd half!

Exactly. We had a MASSIVEchance with Giggs and a half chance with Ole hitting post.(Which Semen covered anyway)
