McShane concedes a free kick on the edge of our area by shoulder barging their forward off the ball. The free kick is hit at the wall.

I am just waiting for Eagles's - he's my favourite united youth player.

We're starting to really link up well and play one touch short passing football, Jones getting the final shot.

No. :notnervous: :)

Davies has been booked for standing on McShane after McShane went in for a tackle. Now McShane is booked in a late kick. Not been that sort of game up to now.

Harrison off for Daniel Reed.

He's done ok, but just like the last leg, he's not stood out, I'm a bit disappointed in him, he's been better in the U17's.

Having said that he just produced the best wing play of the game! <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" /> Shame his cross, after wriggling between two defenders, didn't have someone on the end of it.

Ah Feck, goal disallowed. Richardson had done well in the box, holding off their defender before turning and crossing, for Blake to toe poke home. Feck know what they disallowed that for.

Come on lads... <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" /> <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" /> <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

There's some very good football being played now by us, particularly threatening down the right flank, from Simms and Eagles and Jones.

another similar one of Becks

Kieran Richardson and Phil Bardsley take the ball off Middlesbrough's Andrew Davies

After another good move, started by Jones - top performance again, Eagles takes a shot in the box but hit high. 7 shots on target to 2 now.

We're utterly taking the piss now.

Passing around their box, moving, opening them, getting shots off.

I can't believe we're only winning 1-0, our performance has been so good, but at times we've chosen to take shots from distance rather than play an extra pass or two and craft a better chance.

Ramon Calliste is coming on, and Mark Howard, McShane and Blake are coming off. Very good performances from them both.

Calliste must be special if he's replacing all three!

yes - it's great that these kids are playing up - MU fans should be very proud of em

Ah feck, they've somehow managed to equalise, very good cross in, central defender flat footed, easy header. Richardson off for David Poole. I think McShane was missed there, I know we've won the tie, but it would've been nice to win this home leg. Should've scored from all these chances though.

Steele parries a shot, the ball comes dangerously close to their forward, but one of our defenders just nicked it away. We did well to not concede another there.

8 mins.

Boro are putting up a fight now, especially now that we've weakened our team to give some other kids a chance.

Calliste is a creative link forward, welsh international.

Howard's a poor defender, and Poole's a midfielder, never impressed me.

Lawrence got booked for something I didn't see, was typing on here!

Terrific support by the lads btw, sang all game long. The kids will have learnt a lot of songs tonight. :)

I heard Calliste was one they expect a lot from, but he's behind Blake in the pecking order?
