You can see why Keane hates Mick Mccarthy

Hi 77

Thats Blackburn fecked then eh?
They've no chance now

Full marks to Blackburn. They had a plan, and even with Duff out, and Dunn / Thompson injured, stuck to it and carried it out. For most of the game we were out-fought and out-thought.

We played okay but showed nothing special. Giggs stank to high heaven again and I thought we looked more threatening when he was withdrawn. Thank God for Mikael 'Two Jobs' Silvestre.

And does anyone remember the good old days when a corner for our boys was a cause for excitiment and anticipation ? Everyone went straight onto a Blackburn head tonight. This has been going on for ages and needs to be put right on the training ground.

We're not out of this tie by a long chalk. But that was a tremendously well organised display by Blackburn who deserve all credit.

Ferguson really should sit Giggs down and soon. Giggs needs to rest but it is not just that. Not sure what the hell his problem has been but he needs an attitude adjustment or something.

He needs to add other dimensions to his game because nobody can remain lightning quick forever.

Maybe we've had his best years; plain and simple.

Giggs played tonight?

It hit his chest, but he used his hands afterwards. Have to admit I only saw it in the 2nd replay.

There was one instance tonight that really highlighted that. Anyone remember it?

The ball broke to Giggs in the second half about 40 yards out and he burst forward, just evaded one tackle then got caught by the second one. Immediately I thought to myself that Giggs of a couple of years ago wouldn't have been caught then. Of course Ray Houghton said it was great pace to avoid the first tackle.

I know better than Ray, obviously.

Yes and as you can tell by all the comments and opinions, not very well.

dunno how you work that one out? theyve just drawn 1-1 at our place. that gives them advantage with an away goal.
we'll need to score twice there to be sure of going through. B'burn have proved hard to break down in the last 2 matches against them, so im not going to count any chickens yet
