Wes has been struggling since he came back, no doubt. But one player who I have been very disappointed in this season has been O'Shea. He can't defend at all.
Just read in the programme that tonights match is FREE at midnight to Sky and NTL peeps.

1. He wasn't on the goal line for the 1st to save it after it was defelected of the post.
2. He was only marking two Boro players instead of three (Juninho) for the second.
3. He wasn't invovled in the build up for the United goal..

I'm watching the game on rtl5 and we are making boro look like real madrid. Our defence is non-existent, they just run rings around our defenders without doing anything special, they could have scored more and were more dangerous than us. 1st goal was howard's fault, low shot from 20+ yards to the lower right (from howard's perspective), Howard reacts far too late and can only put his finger tips on it, ball flies up and bounces of the top bar, falls down for a boro player and goal. Second one is, again, bad defending from set pieces: corner, juninho unmarked can unleash a free header, goal. Horrible defence and this is no coincidence: 3 consecutive games with so many mistakes and goals let in.

I'm not watching the match, so I can't comment on if Howard should have reacted quicker or where the shot came from, but seeing BBC live commentary it was from 25 yards out so I am assuming it was a rocket shot and probably somewhat shielded Tim from so far out.
