Tony Adams is backing us to win...Pires is saying the game doesn't means shit - Arsenal will still be top whatever happens...Fergie promising 'surprises'.....Wenger's probably saying something as well but who gives a toss...Let the mind games commence !!!

Not the team or the formation I'd have chosen....should be interesting.

What have Forlan and Fortune done to deserve the bench?

I was feeling quietly optimistic. I'm not now. I think Ole is better than Phil Neville on the right, with Ruud and Diego up front.

Has Fortune failed a fitness test?? Shit, I'd rather have O'Shea in midfield than Phil or Veron. And what more can Forlan do to earn a starting place? This is worrying, I thought he got everything right against Liverpool, but this midfield is far too weak.
 
Time for Fergie to prove he knows better than all of us then.

I think the team selection is wrong. And if I say it often enough, we'll score a hatful.

Ruud Ole

or possibly this:

The latter would be suicidal.

Maybe he figures that Arsenal, being comprised mainly of European players, play the European way, which will hopefully suit Veron.

(Oh - Quinton injured).
 
Fortune is injured, trained monday or tuesday but felt pain, but scan yesterday showed a fracture to tibula just below the knee, he'll be out for a month!! Butt, Keane, we need you!!

maybe..

altho i do think that, the side he's picked looks more 'creative'... however, i would've kept Fortune in the middle, we look so much more stronger in the centre with him playing.. which helps the defence out n'all.

Tbh, if we line up with a four man midfield, I don't see anyone there who will create the kind of chances from the wings that Ruud and Ole will need. This could be make or break for Seba.

If he's not got Fortune then I'd rather have Stewart or O'Shea there as Phil is just not going to break up their attacks. Veron I'd never have in the centre of the park against them, maybe on the right wing though, and Scholes must be kept in the centre of the action.

I'd try:

Barthez
Phil Gary Brown Silvestre
Veron O'Shea Scholes Giggs
Ruud Ole

with those players. Though I'd rather have Forlan on than Veron.
