Juve is going to score once in this game...just hope United score once more too...a second United goal would all but end this...then I would love to see the young lads like Fletcher and Pugh get a run out the last 10 minutes...
 
basically we're getting played off the park..... however, atleast they haven't created too many clear cut chances..


we need to pass the ball around more... the mid needs to get a grip of the game!
 
Anyone watching the match. We are hoofing the ball like no tomorrow, is this Liverpool I'm watching??? What the feck happened to our passing game, we can't string of two passes together without the ball ending in a Juve player's feet. Horrible footballing performance. Better stop laughing at the scousers.

As far as I see it, we are seriously missing Verón in this. And SAF should take of Silvestre, his general play has not been good, as his passing has been, well, dire!

Silvestre is having a very bad game.

Agreed, have to say that I've never seen Keane play so bad. He's very very deep, and only playing backwards passes, when he's doing anything at all. The consequence of this is that the defence are getting the ball back and having to bypass the central midfield with long balls to Ruud, or trying to use the wings. Would be bearable if our wing work came to anything, but Giggs hasn't had the pace to get free and create a chance, and Beckham's only had a marked Ruud to cross to.

He's been shite at passing alright, doesn't help the midfield as they have to chase all the time. But they aren't exactly setting the world on fire. Scholes is the only midfielder there showing any kind of commitment, rest are fecking passengers. If we lose the ball, track back and get it, but when we play 3 primadonnas and scholes this shite ain't going happen. Keane is not the same player as before, it happens after serious injuries. It's normal and it takes time to come back.

We started off playing fantastic football. Finally scoring a goal from a corner kick is very good for the future.

I don't know what then happened. Juve took over and could easily have equalised. Our passing isn't good enough. We're missing Veron but should still be able play a better passing game. Butt is still not match fit.
 
No, just my view. Nothing against Manchester United but seiously - what's wrong with the ref? Some unbelievable decisions. Nobody in here mentioned there seemed to be a foul when you won the corner?

I'd take off Silvestre and stick on O'Shea, then remove Butt and bring on Solskjaer.

We wont lose with the current formation I'm sure, but at 1-0 anything could happen. I'd go to a classic 4-4-2.

Probably yes, that's the reason. Doesn't change the fact that the ref is the biggest reason you're one up though.
