Agree - I said so after the Arsenal game.
Silvestre's passing was abysmal - although defensively he was ok.

True.
Not only did he do a great job on Camoranesi, he was pretty dangerous coming up forward as well.
Weastie, did you see the Madrid game?

Saw Raoul's goal. Excellent determination. Inzaghi would have never scored that goal![]()
Ronaldo's... lucky.
Lehman could have saved both.

Damn right Weastie. Why the bloke has been benched after his earlier contributions is beyond me. LB fine but I say if he can't be played there then bloody well find somewhere for him. There are one or two who should be sidelined to make room for a form guy like him.

now what does that mean??? that it was an accident... and Becks said some stuff back to SAF..hence the reaction?????
must say it would explain our lacklustre performance...

He hasn't added details...just had an enigmatic smile and said "it doesn't hapen every day to have the arch of the eyebrows opened, but well, it's the life of a dressing room".
Fab was nowhere to be seen, usually he speaks to the TF1 journalist when United wins in the CL, he probably didn't want to be asked about the "incident".

The journalist couldn't help asking him about the Ferguson-Beckham incident.

Mickey's always so honest. Journalists must love him...none of those bland, non-answer quotes from him!

Or may be he was upset after the late goal. He seems to have shouted much to his defenders this evening.

I don't think that's his way. He's always been really blunt and honest.

I don't know if the British press will use that... But we don't know what have thought the players... I guessed that they were on Beckham's side in this affair. May be they have been schocked. I like and respect Ferguson very much, but I wouldn't accept to receive a shoe in my face by my boss !

Thats true....however he's has a very short fuse.....IF Indeed Becks said something back to him, which seems the case....then thats well out of order. The boot in the face was an accident, doubt you could do that if you tried!
I've heard rumours that its Beckham who leaked the story.... wonder why he never wore his hat as per usual, straight after the incident?

I've read that Rio had told the story to an Arsenal player . So it could come from Arsenal. But I don't know if it's true. It can come from someone who knows well Beckham or one of the United players, who knows ? The papers have their "inside sources".

I don't know. Rumours are rumours, I never trust them. One thing is sure, Beckham didn't try to hide the injury. But imagine, if his eye had been touched...

He should know better, why fuel the gossip? It's in the team's interest to calm down the situation.
